Occasionally, I come across a book that grabs me from the second I read a teaser, and this was one of those books.I have been looking forward to reading this and wasn't disappointed at all.Ember and Drake are beautiful. I love characters that are flawed and slightly broken in their own way. The author has written two beautifully flawed characters who were meant for one another. The story unwinds and shows a life that Ember has run away from, a life that would see her as the youth ministers wife. She was destined for bigger and better things and sometimes you have to break into a million pieces in order to understand why the pieces of your life never fitted right.Drake is wonderful in every way. The ultimate protector who has fallen in love with an Auburn-haired beauty.The side characters are incredibly written and add a lot to the storyline. From the religious, strict mother, the quirky free spirited aunt right up to Drake's personal assistant. They're all fantastically written.Steamy, lots of awesome steamy scenes!I loved this book so much, it put me in a serious book hangover!

Let me start by saying if possible I'd give this book 10 stars.The story,the plot and characters are simply fantastic.This is the first book by this wonderful author and it's out standing.Fall in love with the dark sensitive alpha Drake,and the beautiful innocent Em .immerse yourself in this story between to people who are destined to be together..... such a beautiful well written story,it captives you from the start. I consumed this book in days.I want more and so will you.I'm not giving away any of the plot because my words will not do it justice,go buy the book read it and be blown away .my inner book worm is very very satisfied.I simply look forward to future books by Autumn key.

Fantastic book! Drake is a very sexy protective Alpha Male. Its difficult finding a good book that really hooks you in, but this ticks all the right boxes. I've read book 2 aswell and that is just as good.

An incredible debut novel from someone who writes like shes been writing books for years. Totally fallen in love with Ember and Drake and cant wait to read about parker in the next!!!! Type quicker Autumn!! 😂

This book was such a surprise as it was a recommendation & I really really loved it.A really original concept that leads into the series which I just had to read.I don’t want to give too much away but if you’ve read the book description believe me it’s every bit as good as it sounds!
