Your fuel injected Metric Cruiser is equipped with an ECU (electronic control unit) that's programmed to deliver fuel to the motor based on an air/fuel ratio for a stock air filter and stock exhaust system. While the ECU can self-adjust for environmental factors such as temperature and altitude, it can't adjust for mechanical changes like adding performance parts. When you install a performance exhaust system, your airflow changes, so you need a fuel management system that adjusts your air/fuel ratio to match the changes. That fuel management system is Fuelpak. The perfect combination with your performance exhaust system.

Perfect for the 900
Installed the Vance & Hines big radius 2 into 2 pipes and experienced popping noises from the lean mixture, installed the fuelpak with the appropriate map for the exhaust and a K&N air filter and now she runs perfect! Directions and diagrams were better than the norm, only took 1-1/2 hours to install and program. One install tip, you don't need to remove the gas tank, just remove the two bolts under the seat, lift it up and support it with a couple short 2x4's. Great product!

From what I have been able to tell from a few short rides, this works really well. Can't wait to get an intake as well.
