Polaroid 600 Film Review: Nostalgic Charm with a Pricey Twist
The media could not be loaded. The Polaroid 600 film brings back the nostalgic charm of instant photography with its classic, vintage feel. Each photo develops with that iconic Polaroid look, offering vibrant colors and a unique texture that digital photos simply can’t replicate. However, one notable drawback is that each pack contains only 8 photos, while many Polaroid cameras are designed to hold 10. This discrepancy can be somewhat disappointing, as it not only disrupts the shooting flow but also makes the hobby more expensive. With fewer shots per pack, the cost per photo can add up quickly, making it a pricier choice for capturing memories.Overall, while the Polaroid 600 film delivers on quality and nostalgia, the limited number of photos per pack and the associated cost might give some photographers pause.

THAT OLD-FASHIONED POLAROID QUALITY IS BACK!
I've shot some of the Polaroid B&W 600 film in my old One Step Express and I have no complaints other than the price. PROS: Excellen sharpness and rendition, probably exceeds the lens' ability to resolve, being as it's a plastic meniscus lens. Built-in batter is nice because it means you'll never have low battery issues. CONS: Expensive. Shopping amazon brings the lowest price available at this time and it rounds to about $2 a shot. I love the square format and the excellent contrast and resolution. Great film, and that flare of light on the right hand picture is from a mirror at upper left reflecting into the lens.

Works well
There’s not much to say here. The film inserts easily and is high quality. I love my Polaroid!

Love it!!
Got this film for my camera, which is from 1993 and passed down from parents. I thought it didn’t work anymore, but these films turned out amazing! The photos have such a classic, nostalgic feel, and now they’re some of my absolute favorites. Now I’m bringing this camera to any party I attend. Even though I have a professional camera and the latest iPhone, these Polaroid shots are my favorites!

COMPARING POLAROID 600 TO FUJIFILM Instax Mini 11 Instant Camera('s)
The media could not be loaded. I can't remember if I knew this film was so expensive and also comes in smaller quantities, when compared to my other instant Camera, FujiFilm Instax Mini 9 which I recently upgraded to the Instax Mini 11 (which is a THOUSAND times better than my shitty 9 that eventually stopped wor×king). Instax film has 10 photos per roll when Polaroid 600 only has 8. Considering this film is very expensive, again, compared to the FujiFilm Instax Mini film. Which you can get on Aliexpress for roughly $10-$20, and unlike Polaroid, which cannot be found on any discount sites or apps. Instax also has licencesd character films (such as Disney, Sanrio and characters Pokemon, Hello Kitty, Disney Princess', Mickey Mouse, ect.) which Polaroid does not. Instax also has many different designs and colors of film which Polaroid DOES do, (just not the licensed ones like Disney) such as classic Black and White, Different colors and designs like stripes, polka dots, Etc.. However the special themed 600 films are pretty hard to find and when you do they are so expensive considering you're only paying for EIGHT photos. HOWEVER this double pack was a pretty good deal considering the single 8 packs are usually around $20ish. I did apprecia×te the $5ish in savings since like I keep saying, this film is pretty expensive. But I do take in m×ind the whole point of the 600 is that it's a refurbished vintage camera so in that sense, it's a lot more special than the Instax. Anywho I took a star off for how expensive this film is and how it doesn't come in cool designs like the instax mini
