Buy This Flash Drive!!!
I received the Corsair 128GB 3.0 flash drive the other day. It comes formatted as FAT32. I reformatted it into exFAT. This format is fully compatible with Microsoft PCs and Apple MacBooks, at least those running more recent versions of their respective operating systems. The other advantage of exFAT is there is no single file copy size limit like there is with FAT32. You can always go back to the FAT32 format if you have issues with operating system capatibility. Anyway enough on that. The Corsair drive is fantastic. The drive was instantly recognized by my Dell running Windows 7. The reformatting to exFAT took only a couple of seconds. I then copied several files from my PC to the Corsair. IT WAS SO FAST! I don't know how to measure the write speeds of the Corsair but it was instantaneous! The size of this drive and using a fast USB 3.0, which is backward compatible to older USB ports, makes this the drive to have IMHO. It also looks great. The exterior is fully rubberized and feels great. The end cap is not connected so it could get lost but I'm pretty good about not doing that and it does fit fairly snug. Unlike some reviews stating there is no light, the drive does a blue light when you are writing/reading from the drive but that light is not on when the Corsair is dormant. It also has a five year warranty. If you are looking for a drive that is fast and has the room to store a lot of stuff, this is it. Buy it, you won't regret it!

Very Fast Flash Drive!
Like always Voyager is a very good driver. In this GT USB 3.0 Model Corsair cover all my expectations. This Flash is really fast and have the best shock protection in the market (One time Fall down by Elevator Hole from a 4 Floor and keep working like nothing happened). Maybe is a bit big and can be a bit difficult insert in some back cases but on most of cases its not a problem. Other point to consider but is not a Corsair Voyager fault is a problem with Win 8 64 Bits USB 3.0 Drivers. In Win 8 whenn i inserted the flash works great then the 2nd time that i used windows reported that dont recognize the Flash (And this is a problem of Intel Win 8 USB 3.0 Drivers) ... I take the Drive and insert in a Win 7 64 Bits Machine and keep Work fine , back to Win 8 and dont Work then is a Intel USB 3.0 Win 8 Driver problem with the Coirsair Voyager GT USB 3.0. I was reading about and same problem often occurs with 128GB Unit and any USB 3.0 Voyager GT Drive. Then if you are considering this Drive for Win 8 64 Bits Machine with Intel USB Controller maybe you need wait a bit more for Intel-Corsair solve this problem. For all the rest worth any cent invested on this Flash Drive :o)

Benchmarks don't lie...
I own several different types of small portable flash drives and I wanted to upgrade to something with USB 3.0 for better performance. I decided to use three different USB drives for a simple test on two different PCs. The PC's difference that really matters here is that one is native USB 2.0 on the board and the other is USB 3.0. The Flash drive devices I used were:-My old personal favorite the 2GB PNY Attachè USB 2.0 Flash Drive-A new 64GB Lexar USB 3.0 Flash Drive-This 32GB Corsair Flash Voyager GT ruggedized USB 3.0 Flash DriveSize comparison: (you know size does matter)Smallest and most convenient to use is definitely the Lexar with its retractable USB connector. The PNY is old and has a very slim and standard solid body but is almost twice as long as the Lexar. Then, like an 800lbs. gorilla, this Corsair drive comes in with a suite of rubber armor including the helmet. It is nearly 3 times the size of the Lexar but if you want something that you can give to your toddler and expect to get back even hours of abuse later, this is it.Now on to the performance specs as this is probably why you are taking you time to read this and why I wanted to write it. I did the same 1GB size test with each USB drive on both of the PCs. I used CrystalDiskMark 3.0.1 which is a freeware portable app to gauge disk performance in Read/Write times. Don't worry, I will explain my take on the results at the end but everyone is entitled to their own opinions based on the data. I also ran it against my local C: drive to get a better perspective of what the numbers mean:********************The following three results are on the USB 2.0 capable PC********************Local C: HDD is a SATA connected platter type drive, not a high performance SSD drive: Sequential Read : 102.400 MB/s Sequential Write : 102.570 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 35.277 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 48.460 MB/s2GB PNY Attachè drive(USB2.0 only): Sequential Read : 12.692 MB/s Sequential Write : 4.137 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 12.679 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 1.321 MB/s32GB Corsair Flash Voyager GT ruggedized drive(USB 3.0): Sequential Read : 34.788 MB/s Sequential Write : 26.397 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 34.646 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 0.788 MB/s64GB Lexar drive(USB 3.0): Sequential Read : 34.769 MB/s Sequential Write : 30.079 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 34.056 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 1.447 MB/sConclusions: On a PC that only supports USB 2.0 it appears that any USB 3.0 capable device is going to have a significant performance boost over the older drives and will all be about the same as the upper performance limit of USB 2.0 is quickly reached with newer technology. If this is all you will be using then get the model that looks best to you.********************The following three results are on the USB 3.0 capable PC********************Local C: HDD is a SATA connected platter type drive, not a high performance SSD drive: Sequential Read : 119.741 MB/s Sequential Write : 122.655 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 36.170 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 45.882 MB/s2GB PNY Attachè drive(USB2.0 only): Sequential Read : 13.032 MB/s Sequential Write : 4.207 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 13.024 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 1.195 MB/s32GB Corsair Flash Voyager GT ruggedized drive(USB 3.0): Sequential Read : 158.443 MB/s Sequential Write : 42.439 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 143.546 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 1.069 MB/s64GB Lexar drive(USB 3.0): Sequential Read : 45.948 MB/s Sequential Write : 36.786 MB/s Random Read 512KB : 43.944 MB/s Random Write 512KB : 1.008 MB/sConclusions: Holy Carp! I did not expect this much of a difference in the Read performance but Corsair did claim to have some nice performance specs. Now keep in mind that this is the Read speed only as the Write speed results are much closer in comparison. What this means in the real world is that it will still take you about the same amount of time to copy that huge file to the portable USB Flash drive. The difference will be in reading the file from the portable drive and when copying it onto something else like your friend's PC. Bottom line here is that if you have PC equipment with USB 3.0 (easy way to tell is it will have a BLUE colored bar in the port instead of the black or dark gray) you will get a serious performance boost with taking the files off the drive. Now go out there and be a more informed consumer!

No Issues and Good Speeds.
Worked perfectly. It works perfectly for all my needs. The only issue that I have (why I only gave it 4 stars) Is the rubber case makes it bulky. I can't plug in more then one thing into my Macbook Pro. But I was able to solve the problem. The rubber case slides off, leaving a slim black case.

Buyer beware - used once, stopped working.
I was initially excited to order this, a 128gb USB 3.0 drive for under $120? SOLD! I ordered this at the end of June 2013 and got it very quickly. I used it on a business trip and noted it was pretty fast and the storage space was great. That was the only time it worked.I've tried a few times since then and it's not recognized by any of my computers, Mac or PC. This is no user issue, I am a trained IT professional. The drive just is not working. Of course its been too long now to initiate a return through Amazon, but going to the Corsair website and initiating an RMA has been pretty painless. I will update this review during the RMA process.

Not compatible with MacBook Pro
It worked for the first couple of times on my Apple machines but then it failed with my MacBook Pro 15" Early 2011 which has a USB2 port and with my Mac Mini Late 2012 which has USB3 port and it just does not work anymore. I keep getting errors. I tried formatting but it simply does not recognize the drive properly. It works fine with Windows 7 and 8 machines though. I would not recommend it even for Windows users because there is no guarantee that it will not fail after a short while.
