Do i have to wet this food or can i sprinkle on top of seeds?

You don't have to wet it. You can serve dry or sprinkle it on top of fruit/veggies or pellets. . I like to mix it in with the pellets. I don't wet it

Is this product good only for female canaries?

It is a good source of nutrition for all birds, young or old. My lovebirds love it. Eggs are the best source of Protein.

is this low calcium ?

Why do you want a low calcium food for your bird ?Birds need and can consume calcium in the form of a cuttle bone placed in their cage.

have not used my quicko in a few months, now need it and seems clumpy. have 2 bags both in outer ziploc not near moisture. is it good? exp 11/2020.

I used to keep it in a ziplock bag and found it got clumpy. I put it in the food processor and then into mason jars. Had no problems and my canaries were very happy!

Quiko Egg Food...Excellent product!

Quiko is by far one of the best Egg Foods available. I LOVE the smell of it and know that I am always giving my birds a fresh, important, beneficial product during our breeding season. I just wish it would be available in a larger size bag as we have many breeding birds. I have been purchasing this quality product, locally, for years now, but it is not always available through our pet shops !

Love the smell and my bird loves the taste.

I love the smell of this stuff! This is a great food for many different bird species. It's easier to get picky birds to eat it, because it's almost like a crumble. You can sprinkle it on their regular seeds mix or veggies and fruits for added nutrients. Definitely something to promote healthy eggs if breeding your birds. Definitely recommend.

Our birds eat it willingly and often.

Our canaries love this stuff! Especially the female. We bought it as a supplement for mating season but will continue to use it. Our male eats it but his favorite is broccoli, our female eats it most, doesn’t eat as much fruit, vegetables or seeds anymore. Still eats everything but focuses more on this stuff.For me the value is great. I will buy it again. It’s supposed to be complete nutrition so I feel I can’t go wrong.

Ideal button quail food

There were no recommendations available on what to feed button quail when we hatched them other than high protein feed. I’ve been feeding them this for years and they are still doing great at almost 5 years old!

Great but it’s not bird FOOD

I’ve got a canary and a conure. It seems like high quality egg food is really getting hard to find around here, so I ordered this.They both love it and it seems to have helped my conure through a hard molt.I docked a star because I don’t think they’re clear about WHAT this actually is. This is NOT bird food. It’s more of a supplement you use in addition to their food. I didn’t know that. I ordered it as a food and then realized what it was. I ended up using it like the package directs.But, all in all I’m happy with it and I’m now a frequent buyer of it so it was a happy accident!
