Needed a replacement
Husband wears out remotes like crazy. Needed to replace our Dish remote (for the THIRD time) and this worked straight out of the box. Good price and easy to set up. Would recommend,

Buy a real Dish remote, not this knockoff
This does not work as described in the instructions. I was able to link it to my dish receiver with instructions I stumbled across in an online forum. You cannot program the remote to the address set in the receiver, and the process to use the remote to reset the address set in the receiver is not provided in the instructions. It was just luck that I managed to findinstructions that worked to link it to my Dish receiver. I was not able to link olit to my TV which should be simple. Instructions say hold the TV button til all mode buttons light up. This doesn't work, ever! The TV button lights up and stays lit, then no matter what I do from there in the way of entering a code, pressing #, etc. it will not link to the TV despite giving all appearance of doing so (TV mode button blinks) don't waste an hour or two like I did. Buy a remote ACTUALLY made by Dish!!!

It does actually work!
Had hell pairing it with my tv.What you should expect:1) Mode lights on all options will not all light up at once upon programming2) Expect to be on hold with Dish3) Find a dish support agent that you can barely understand and follow their directions a) Press and hold mode button until it light up solid b) Start entering 3 (or) 4 digit codes and press # once completed c) My TV actually turned off once paired4) Expect to go through alot of codesOther than that it actually worked and works better than the original (abused) one .

Does not work Correctly
The remote would not let me program it to my TV. Works on my dish receiver. Can't get mode lights to flash so i can program the remote to TV
