Easily the best wax I’ve ever used
If you’re looking for an easy to use wax that puts down an absolutely incredible shine, this is what you’re looking for. I’ve tried all kinds of waxes over the last 45 years (sometimes to wax my parent’s cars ages ago) & have used everything from the basic old Turle Wax & Simoniz to Pinnacle. None had the shine Griots Poly Wax does nor the hydrophobic properties. It’s supposed to last at least 6 months so time will tell if that’s accurate as it’s only been a couple of weeks since I put it on my car. I mostly bought it for my 2 kids’ cars since they won’t have the time for waxing (or probably even just an occasional wash) while they’re away at school & figured I’d see how well it worked before moving on to a much more expensive option in ceramic. But, for now, it IS the real deal. I have what I always considered a rather dull looking grayish 2017 Chevy Volt. I love the car & it was the only color available when I needed a new car but the gray just looked tolerable—-until I put Griots Poly on it. Now it sparkles like never before & sheds water & dirt better than ever. Even the rear bumper & hatch area that used to get ridiculously dirty just driving 2 miles to the store has stayed cleaner.I put the wax on my car in the garage here in FL & it went on incredibly easy & came off just as easy—so easy I thought it wouldn’t do much of anything, until I took the car out in the sun. Then it was —WOW! Yesterday though, I started to do my wife’s beautiful blue car outside on a 94 degree day) & it went on as easy as it did on my car but dried in less than the minimum 10 minute cure time they recommend. It all came off & the hood looks great (that’s as far as I got) but it was a real chore getting it off—something that I had read about from others who applied it in the sun on a hot day. Lesson learned. But, as with my car, the blue shines & sparkles so much that even my wife was pleasantly surprised & she doesn’t really care about shine so long as the car is clean & starts when she needs it to. Other than my misguided attempt in the sun, the wax went on easy with the included applicator & came off just as easy with the included microfiber towel & I let my car cure for about 20 minutes in the garage. If your looking for the ultimate shine & one that lasts, short of a ceramic coating, then Griot’s Poly Wax is the wax to get.

Fantastic Wax -- what a difference!
I have been getting more involved in cleaning and detailing my cars with all the time on my hands due to virus lockdown. I decided to get some wax which I haven't used in years. A guy on a car site I watch recommended this so I grabbed the kit. It was very easy to apply and buff off after drying to a haze. I applied in mild sunlight/shade on a moderately warm day. I could not believe how much different my car looked after using this wax. And it feels so so smooth now. I waxed my other car with the same result. Then my son came out to visit with his 2016 Camaro SS that he is super proud of and always working on. He usually uses a spray on hybrid wax and I talked him into washing his car and using this wax. He could not believe how much nicer it looks with this wax. I am certainly he will go home and buy the same kit and start using this wax rather than spray on. Yeah, it is a bit more work to use the rub on wax that you have to buff off, but he was surprised how easy it was. Each car took about an hour total to wax and buff. With all the free time I have due to virus, that is not an issue. So far, it is lasting well. I did 2 coats (24 hours apart) on the horizontal surfaces (hood, trunk, roof) and 1 coat on the rest of the car. The cars still look great a month later and still feel smooth as silk. I will buy another bottle when this one runs out. My impression is that one bottle is enough to do about 6 cars.

Excellent product. Easy, glossy, hard shell of protection!
I’ve been using Griot’s Best of Show wax and really like it, so I figured I’d give this Liquid Poly Gloss wax a try. It supposedly has more gloss but less depth than the Best of Show, and lasts longer per application. It was super easy to apply, let cure, then buff. I’m surprised at how durable it seems. It really does shine very well, and it feels like a super slick hard shell. It makes rinsing off dirt and dust a breeze! It’s been a couple of weeks and my hood still looks like a mirror-still body of water!
