I started weight training after injuring my knee with running. I bought these Harbinger gloves at that time. After 10 years of weight machines, barbell, dumbbell, kettlebell, and pull up bar, I finally noticed a small tear in the stretch fabric on the back. The glove is still useable after 10 years, but I decided to replace it. Getting 10 years from a piece of exercise equipment is remarkable. I know some people have in the past said it lasted only 1 month but with care this glove will last a long time. As one person suggested, you remove the glove by the leather palm one finger at a time. You also should take care to let them dry. With a little care these gloves will last for years.

Gloves appear well made. Fingers were a little short for my taste as I have long fingers so I returned them. Made In the Philippines. That information is not available on Amazon or the companies website.

I owned a pair of these Harbinger gloves for several years. They fit perfectly and were very durable. I wore them for such a long time that the gloves literally started to wear out and fall apart. I tried to find replacement gloves at various sporting good stores that were the same make and model. Good luck! The gloves I found were either too small, or poorly made. Needless to say, I was skeptical buying them on line. What a pleasant surprise when they arrived. They were the exact gloves that I sought to replace! The size was the same, as was the quality. They performed well and made lifting weights comfortable again. I recommend these gloves to anyone that seeking gloves that are properly padded, light, and well made. Indeed, I plan to purchase another pair to use as added insurance.

Would have got rid of them sooner but there was Pandemic 2020 to 2021 Feb where gyns were closed...I like these gloves a lot...They're sold out & I feel fortunate to have:Bought 2Bought 1 later2018.01.28 UpdateWore in gym for first time. Feel, grip & padding are all good, didn't stain much. Might wash couple more times in sink to further reduce / eliminate staining completely...Hope gloves last at least 6 months...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Haven't used in gym for weight lifting and general use yet. But I put them on and wore them for several hours while sitting at the computer and my hands are already stained. Can't image how stained my hands will get once I begin to workout and sweating.I'll wash gloves first before going to gym using dish soap to remove some of the dye.Then use dryer on ultra low heat to dry them.I've used Harbinger gloves exclusively in the gym for everything in past but its been awhile...The quality and durability of previous Harbinger were superb. I'd usually throw them out before they wore out either because they'd start smelling after 6 or 7 months... Or I wanted fresh new pair...If these last me 6 months for price is be extremely happy as I work out regularly possibly 4 to 5 days minimum with couple days off every week...These look nice are light and feel good...I'll update review after wearing them in gym for a week or so...

I've been a Harbinger consumer to 20+ years, and have been holding out hope that the stitching integrity will improve...someday. This hasn't occurred yet, which I confirmed with likely my 30th pair during this time span (see attached pictures). The stitching between the fingers and in the palm doesn't deconstruct sometimes, it deconstructs all of the time. More often than not, this occurs within the first 90 days. The fit and comfort are always sufficient, but it's stunning the shoddy construction hasn't improved during this period of time. Yes, shame on me for always coming back, but I'm big on 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc chances. This pair was delivered on Dec 19th, 2023 and had split open in numerous spots (see pics) by Jan 15th, 2024. I typically work out 4-5 times a week for 45 mins to 1 hr 30 mins - so nothing extraordinary on my end to cause this type of glove deconstruction. I know that all of my friends have experienced identical outcomes with their Harbinger gloves over the years, which seems to confirm my historic experience isn't anecdotal. As mentioned, I've long been a Harbinger supporter. However, this would the be proverbial last straw, until they've made a new commitment to stitching and glove construction. Hopefully, this proves helpful for those considering a pair of Harbinger gloves, as I've tried approximately a dozen Harbinger variations, and the result has been identical for two plus decades.

The gloves are great, they are comfortable and built to last. The problem is the Dye they used it starts to leach black when they get humid. They stain your hands black and last a while to remove. I washed gloves by hand and the still leach black color. Also left gloves on bucket of water overnight to remove as much as posible of the dye, but even with a full bucket of black liquid, they still leach black dye when used and stain hands.PLEASE: Change the Dye you are using, maybe no dye would be better.
