This tool has worked perfectly for me! I will admit it’s a bit tedious to plant things like carrots and radishes using this but for bigger plants I love it. I love how everything lines up and looks clean (until the plants fill in lol). I will say when using the square foot method in a dry climate you have to water extra. I live in West Texas and would water in the morning and in the afternoon when temperatures exceeded 90.

Bought this for our first planting this year. We used it and loved it. It is as the seller described and recommend for easy planting. I would definitely buy again. Instructions were very helpful with where to plant.

I am new to gardening and Epic Gardening recommended square foot gardening as an easy beginner technique. I wanted to remove as much room for error so I purchased this and it made planting 2 8x4 gardens a sinch! Item is a good quality and I love the added depth gauge and funnel that has been integrated into the design to make direct sowing easier. Cheap for the value and would definitely recommend to anyone getting started in square foot gardening. Made it easy for my kids to help too.

A little pricey, but it works well. I like the fact that I can lay out my sq ft garden as I go along without having to make a permanent string or wood grid. Also very helpful for spacing the plants within the squares. Overall a good tool and great if you have young kids that want to help in the garden ( the small funnel work good for little hands).

Very helpful in helping me plant my potager raised beds. Instead of using the dibber to mark the holes, I used white golf tees instead. I just poked the tees all the way in through the holes and then when I removed the square, the tees remained, which made it very easy to see the marks for planting plus the tees didn't move until I removed them to plant.

I can't recommend the Seeding Square tool highly enough – it's truly a game-changer! If you're gardening with young children, this tool is an absolute must-have.I've always been a fan of square foot gardening. Recently I have incorporated it into my work as a School Garden Coordinator. I work with seven elementary schools, delivering garden-based lessons and assisting with garden planting and maintenance. The first thing is to look for is the funnel on the back of the seeding square. It is there. Don't think for a minute that you didn't get it. I got my sesding square and thought the funnel was missing, , made a phone call, and got the cheerful voice of the owner. She graciously explained to me, all I had to do was turn the seeding square over, and there was the funnel! I am very impressed with her demeanor and kindly way of handling this. And as a further note, had I've read the directions more carefully, I would have seen that it said the funnel was on the back. Great product! Love it!!

I am new to growing food in the garden and was worried about getting the spacing right. For once an Amazon suggested purchase panned out. This is truly 12"x12" aka 1x1 square and really helped with spacing out plantings. Since I just planted the seeds last night I'll give an update around mid to late summer on how well the plantings went. But as far as using this tool I highly recommend it, especially for anyone new to gardening and spacing out plantings.
