Exactly what I was looking for, perfect!

My hobby is cooking. I cook and freeze large quantities of gumbo and different soups. This container is just right for storage and freezing a big batch of my culinary goodies. Also a good value on this item.

This is just what I wanted. I miss having a lid, but have managed without it.

This is exactly what I was expecting. My only complaint is that there was a small scratch on the side when it was shipped to me, but this is irrelevant as it's not exactly going to be displayed at a dinner party. I use this for making bulk salads and storing them in these containers.

Not much to say about it except that it is just right for our need - straining the whey out of home-made yogurt through a 10" diameter nut milk bag. It's the perfect size when starting with 1 gallon of milk/yogurt, allowing us to take off half a gallon of whey without emptying the container over and over again.One star deducted for the high price - three times what it ought to be at fifteen bucks, but that no doubt, mostly reflects the cost of shipping. Metal containers would be easier to clean and more durable, but not as easy to gauge when done, glass containers would be heavy and breakable, so this is it, despite the cost.
