Yes it has fair quality speakers (sent it back didn't like the stand)

Anything can be used as a stylus. The monitor has sort of an optical ring around the screen that registers input. You can use a pen or a pencil, all work pretty good.

I'm an artist looking to use this monitor as a more affordable cintiq alternative. Does the monitor register pressure sensitivity through the stylus?

If you mean pressure sensitivity something like 2048 or 8192 levels, nope. Got none of that. Plus, you can't rest your hand on the monitor, so it would make it a little harder to try and use it to draw. Sometimes I partly wish I got a drawing pad or something like that, but I can settle with it. The only other thing I can tell you is to try on Amazon and search up "Pen Display Tablet" or "Pen Display Monitor". I'm sure you could find something. By the way, if you are wondering where I got the information for the first 2 sentences of this answer, I have this monitor myself, and use it with the computer I use. It's definitely better than my old monitor.
