Best mouse I have had so far
Best mouse I have had so far. Bought this mouse to replace the Zowie EC1-A and I love having the bump towards the back instead of in the center. One thing that bothered me about the EC1-A is when I lifted the mouse, it felt slippery. The texture doesn't do a good job giving you a good grip and the shell of the mouse doesn't have a groove where you can grip it well. With the ZA11, this is not a problem. It has a really nice groove where I can get a nice grip with my ring finger and even though the texture is the same as the EC1-A, it doesn't slip at all. Another thing that I love over the EC1-A is the side buttons. They feel great in the ZA series but in the EC series the side buttons feel like they are going to break with time. The travel distance is too much and the tactile feedback is weak. In the ZA series the travel distance is very minimum, the switches are great quality with great amount of tactile feedback so you will always feel when you are hitting the buttons and the positioning is perfect. Love the cable of the mouse also. Its rubber, not braided so its soft and flexible and the friction in the mousepad is minimal. I wish that Zowie did a right handed version of this mouse with good support for the pinky finger as I have to get my pinky finger in an uncomfortable position and it starts hurting over time.

Good Sensor and buttons, bad build quality
Okay, so first off let me say that I love Zowie and Ive had the FK1 and FK2 and personally think they have the best gaming mice out there. BUT, this model... idk if im unlucky or what. But I've had 2 different ones (second one being a replacement for the first) and both had very bad build quality. For example, the upper shell that is connected to the bottom shell that has the feet and hole for the sensor both times was not tight and was loose. SO every time I used the mouse or moved the mouse by picking it up and putting it back down i could feel the bottom of the mouse moving and shaking. When putting the mouse back down on the pad it almost felt like the bottom had a spring or cushion on the bottom, but when looking closer at it i could see the bottom disconnecting from the top shell and when putting it back down it would got back together. The buttons are all great and the sensor is great as always but its something about the build that makes it not a solid as the FK series.

RETURNING - not similiar to deathadder.
PROS-Definitely a really good mouse. The sensor on this thing has 0 acceleration in comparison to my deathadder elite with mark c+ windows fix and acceleration disabled the deathadder still has it.Very well built feels good despite having hyperhydrosis in the hands using at 400DPI.Super accurate and you can really feel the difference with a good sensor compared to others with not as good sensors.CONS-I thought this one was similiar to the deathadder elite due to the hump in the back and the way it curved. Sadly I was wrong. The front of the mouse curves dramatically down and I don't have the biggest hands and it was causing my wrist to hurt from extending them fully to where I don't normally put my fingers on the deathadder. I palm grip my mouse not claw and the 128mm long version was too long. Even the 120mm length one would most likely cause issues due to the way the front of the mouse curves down.Returning and going to get the ec1-b. Has a newer sensor (compared to ec-a series)and matches the style of the deathadder elite more for how I hold a mouse. Also holding it I would hit the buttons on the right hand side alot ( in right hand mode) doesn't do anything in right hand mode but was annoying. If you like the front slope of the mouse to go very low then this is the right one to get.

Some excellent qualities negated by flaws
Pros (in my opinion -- some of my pros might be cons for others):+ The high-point of the arch is toward the back of this large mouse -- this shape and size are well-suited for those with large hands who prefer a palm grip. Nevertheless, there was something about the size and/or shape that did not suit my grip (see Cons below).+ Despite the lack of rubberized side-grips, the mouse was easy to pick up without slipping.+ Lightweight (90g) and balanced -- no extra weight gimmicks.+ No-nonsense style and design -- no LEDs (except on the underside to indicate the DPI setting), no software, and a tasteful understated logo.+ Cable is flexible rubber rather braided and stiff.+ Huano switches have a precise feel -- I like them better than the Omron switches found on most gaming mice.Cons (in my opinion -- some of my cons might be pros for some people):- Something about the shape and/or size was not right for me -- my hand felt cramped after using the mouse for only a few minutes.- Ambidextrous design with side switches on both left and right. Because I am right-handed, I prefer an ergonomic right-hand design with side switches only on the left. However, the right-side switches did not get in the way as I thought they might.- Surface of the top shell feels sticky after only a few minutes of use.- The switch for changing DPI settings is inconveniently located on the underside of the mouse.- Noisy scroll wheel with 16 notches instead of 24. This was the main deal-breaker for me. I much prefer a 24-notch scroll wheel that is virtually silent.
