This error has nothing to do with shipping but packing from the manufacturer since a defective brush was included. Another purchase of this same product months ago, had no defective brushes. It has more to do with putting quality into the package e.

I recently started painting with acrylics and after doing some research I decided to buy this 15 piece brush set, and I feel that I made the right choice! Now that I have used these brushes a few times, I can say how well they worked. The brushes keep their shape nicely and I didn't loose any bristles while painting. The handles are clearly marked and they come in a nice zippered bag and because of its design, you can stand up the brushes while you're brushing. The case is great for traveling too since it's compact and lightweight. The case came in a beautiful sturdy gift box, that I actually kept (it was too nice to throw out!).I'm very happy with this purchase. The set comes with basically any size and shape of brushes that you will need to create your "masterpiece". I'm satisfied with the quality and they arrived when promised. I highly recommend them!

Brushes especially the bigger ones are too soft. I do like the large filbert for doing 1 color. Round brushes do not hold their shape and have split while I was painting. I do like the liner brush. It’s equal to a round 1. The holder is sturdy , but if your at an event where you paint fast it’s hard to put the brush exactly where you picked it from. The holes on holder are a tight fit to exact brush handle size. Good for practice. Or small gigs. I did transfer brushes I didn’t like to my craft painting brushes and they work well as craft brushes with acrylic paint.

Fantastic brushes and customer service. I sent email to Artscape at 2:58 AM ( yes AM ) and had a response back at 4:35AM! I had bought the 12 inch, 8 inch and detail brushes. I was pre -washing the brushes and some bristles fell out of the 12 inch #15 filbert. ( no problems with any of the others. ) I sent an email and within 2 hours a replacement brush was on the way. I have never had such great service!The brushes are soft and most are long bristle which is what I wanted. They take up paint well and lay down a smooth layer. ( I use acrylic ).The holder is very well made and protects the brushes as well as make them at hand when working on a project.Did you ever have a brush that was so nice that you were torn between using it right away and not using it to keep it nice and new? These are those brushes.

This is an update from my previous review. The seller has sent me the replacement brushes and they are all perfect! The brushes lay down color very smoothly and so far I haven't noticed any problems with them. The brushes are the perfect size and weight for my small hands! The original set that I had purchased had a few "fly away" hairs which stuck in different directions, and I was unable to get the brush back into its original shape. Since using the replacement set, I haven't had a problem with this, and now I am a very happy painter! The seller was also kind enough to send me a complimentary set of tube watercolors which are of excellent quality and very enjoyable to paint with. I would highly recommend trying their watercolor set if you are new to watercolors because the pigment is smooth, bright, and vivid.

Thanks!Update 7-22-17 Originally, I purchased these brushes for a big project, which I have finally finished. The brushes did awesome, no shedding, though, the handles loosen a bit. I can be a bit tough on brushes though because I tend to paint fast, lol. Anyway, I love these brushes even more after experiencing what I can do with them. I completed a 2 foot by 4 foot canvas painting titled Gemini Fields that has added some color above our fireplace and we love it! I just used these brushes for the first time today and found them to be of the highest quality, maintained their shape and help the paint well with even distribution and proper release of the paint. I have used inexpensive brushes with great experiences and expensive brushes with terrible results. These brushes met all of my expectations and I could not be happier. Although I used just a few of the brushes today in the trial run, I truly believe all of the additional brushes will perform with the same results. I would highly recommend them to not only beginners but also experienced artists looking for a great set of brushes.

Besides very use to use cause of the case design it comes with all shapes and sizes necessary for a great art work. Good price and great for a gift. I bought to my mom.

Very pleased with my purchase. After many years I have recently taken up painting again, trying to decide which medium I prefer I've bought several varieties of paint but know that any decent art starts with the quality of the brushes. I didn't have a great deal of spare money but wanted to get the best for what I could spend. After reading countless positive reviews, watching videos & seeing finished artwork I opted for this set by MyArtscape. I ordered on Amazon Prime and my parcel arrived next day. First impression was 'wow', what a beautifully presented item, a smart black box with a white ribbon. Of course this is incidental to the actual brushes but shows additional quality, care, and thought from the company towards their products, & customers. There was also an information leaflet with details on brush care among other things. Inside the box was the vibrant pink zipped storage case I'd chosen from the selection of colours on offer. Again a quality looking/feeling firm cotton/canvas item with a decent zip. It was like pass the parcel as I then opened the case to find the star prize inside, 15 silver toned brushes each numbered & in their respective secure holders! The bonus of the holders being adjustable to a 'standing' position was a 'genius' addition, making brush access quick & easy. The varied range of brushes should satisfy most artists. I've yet to use them all but the 6 I have used several times so far ( with acrylic & water colour) have worked very well, hold a good amount of paint & have retained their shape with no bristle loss. The brushes are slim, lightweight & short handled (ideal for when painting sitting down). My only tiny quibble is the (#1) 2 liner brush in my set isn't as fine at the tip as I'd have thought, but this certainly wont detract from my overall satisfaction of what has turned out to be a great purchase which will get lots of use! Excellent value. Recommend.

This is an excellent product.When I first opened the packaging I couldn't for the life of me think what I'd ordered.It comes in a lovely box, which I still struggled to identify.Then when I took the lid off it was an 'ooohhh yeah' moment.Great quality brushes. I'll be using these for face painting. I will more than likely update this review after using them but so far, they're brilliant.I would absolutely recommend and would definitely buy again.These will look amazing and professional when I do my next face painting gig.

I am very pleased with this product. It is my first personal set of brushes (I've been borrowing my Gran's old set for a long time) so I was nervous about the quality and all the different types of brushes, but I needn't have worried. The day they arrived I received an email from the sellers (before the brushes had actually arrived) with a guide on the different types of brushes and how to clean them depending on what paint had been used with them. They arrived with hardly a hair out of place, and have not shed whilst being used. I did have pictures that I wanted to post with my review, but as I am doing this from my tablet I cannot post them, but my latest painting is on Instagram @kastubbins and the MyArtscape account has been tagged.

I purchased these brushes after reading the great reviews for them. I am not an Artist, however I have recently started face painting and was unhappy with how my designs were coming out. I did some research and was told it may be to do with the brushes I was using. I have to say that although I have only used these brushes a couple of times they seem to be working brilliantly. It has never been easier to practice different techniques and people have been commenting on how great my face painting is looking! I am really pleased. The brushes come with a guide on how to look after them which I have been following very strictly to keep them in good condition! I have found a couple of stray hairs on them after use but these are easily re-shaped with warm water. Although I cannot comment on the art side of things, these brushes are great quality for the money that you pay and do a great job for what I need them to do. No complaints! I would definitely recommend them.

I love it just what I wanted and the packaging was great... can be used as a gift and you won’t need to wrap it ... brushes are good quality and the holder is sturdy and looks like will keep for a long time ... I just wish it came with a bigger holder for additional brushes like a 20 piece set
