great product - read the directions and do research.
this flea medication works! a few things to note that i’ve seen in the reviews and it doesn’t seem like people do too much research - not to be abrasive but don’t miss out on a good product because people don’t read. this product is easy to use, effective, and provides protection from all life stages of fleas when used continuously.1. your dog is still itching after you apply the medication because they have flea bites. they will continue to itch for a few days or weeks until the bites are gone. you can use a oatmeal or anti itch shampoo to help. itching doesn’t necessarily mean continuing biting.2. you need to get it on to their skin and follow the directions which includes continuing in a line down their back from collar to beginning of tail.3. if you have an active infestation you should couple this product with a oral medication. it is safe to mix most oral and topical preventatives/treatments. you also need to wash their bedding and vacuum. you can treat these items with diatomaceous earth - put it on bedding or carpet and then vacuum it up. if you don’t feel like doing this just throw the stuff away. you also need to empty your vacuum canister in a bag and take it to the garbage for best results. you should also bathe your dog (ideally before applying this medication but if not, after it’s been a few days so not to wash the medication off), it is acceptable to do this with dawn dish soap which is especially effective for fleas.4. fleas have a life cycle so if you are struggling with an infestation you probably need to repeat the above directions in #3 every week for about 6 weeks in order to kill the fleas. you should readminister an oral medication once a week as well that kills adult fleas.5. yes dogs die from preventative flea medication. they also die from tapeworms that they get from fleas and fleas are miserable and pesky. it is a cost benefit analysis. dogs die from all sorts of flea medication, generic, oral, topical, or collars. dogs also die from annual vaccinations. it is a possibility that is listed in the information on this preventative - people simply don’t think it’ll be their dog. one of my dogs gets seizures from oral flea medication which is why we practice prevention from everyone else in the house and we have her on topical only.6. this is a generic version of a brand name product. it is the same dosage and ingredients as frontline. the big makers of pet medications have spent billions of dollars in advertising and litigation to make generic pet medications difficult to find and utilize.this is worth a try and it’s a great value for the price. just remember before panicking at the reviews that we have a literacy crisis in the US.

This product works!
I recently started using this as flea medicine for my dog, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! After struggling with pesky fleas for far too long, I was eager to find a solution that actually worked, and this product exceeded my expectations.First and foremost, the application process was incredibly easy. Whether you choose the topical solution or chewable tablet (depending on the product version), administering it to my dog was a breeze. She barely noticed the treatment, which is a huge relief for both of us! The directions were clear and straightforward, making it simple to ensure I was applying or giving the correct dosage.Within just a few days of using it, I noticed a significant reduction in fleas. My dog stopped scratching and biting at her fur as much, which was such a relief to see. It’s clear that this product is effective, as it not only eliminated the existing fleas but also provided ongoing protection against future infestations.I also appreciate that it is made with safe ingredients. As a pet owner, I’m always concerned about what I’m applying to my dog's skin or giving her to ingest. This product is vet-recommended and made with quality components that I trust for my furry friend.Additionally, the value for money is fantastic. Compared to other flea treatments I've tried, this delivers results without breaking the bank. With a few doses providing lasting protection, it’s a worthwhile investment in my dog’s health and comfort.Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this flea stuff for anyone dealing with fleas in their pets. It’s effective, easy to use, and provides peace of mind knowing my dog is protected. We’re finally able to enjoy our time together without the worry of fleas!

Several months later… a little update:
New update:So, back when this brand was called Solimo, which I believe to be an Amazon company as well, I didn’t really have any issues with it. Then it was unavailable for a few months. I guess they rebranded and changed it to Amazon Basics during that time. So I switched to using an alternative brand until it was available once more, and had no problems whatsoever with that substitute brand. I was eager to get back to the rebranded Solimo one. Because it was (slightly) cheaper and my dog didn’t have any issues with it. Ever since I made the switch back, my dog has had serious issues; chewing, uncontrollable biting, lots of eye and nose irritation… need I say more? Well, today I learned that he actually has fleas. This stuff is simply not working and it might work for the first few days, but wears off quickly, even if I don’t bathe him within the first two or three weeks after administering. And I can’t retreat him because it can only be given once every 30 days. It is not just my dog that is having these issues. My mother’s dog is also suffering. We weren’t able to find out what was going on for the longest time. Now I am convinced it is this brand, because the timeline just makes sense. Especially after I have eliminated many different things in my home that could cause all irritations for him. Nothing worked. Not even prescription allergy medication. I will be making a switch back to the other brand, effective immediately. Goodbye junky flea meds!(I use a generic form of K9 Advantix now. I cannot remember what it’s called but the box is similar to the name brand. That one works with no issues.)Initial review:My little pup (4~ months old) tends to be sensitive to most fragrances in our home and shampoos. So he requires a more delicate approach. To my surprise, he didn’t have a reaction to these.
