Do not buy, they are absolutely worthless.We had 3 pinhole leaks at fittings that we needed to fix, went through the whole set of ten rings on them (they all failed so we would re-do the repair), it's now 3 days later and we have nothing to show for it. Had to cut out the pipe and reinstall using the 4 elbow method.If you are here, the 4 elbow method is probably what you will need to end up using, the 4 elbows allows you to slip on a appropriately measured portion from and extended area without trying to muscle the pipe. You cut the pipe, use two elbows to come up or out to the side, put a couple inches of pipe, then measure and use two more elbows glued to a short length of pipe to slide onto the now extended area.

Did not work for me. Now, I'm stuck with a bag of 19. My suggestion is to purchase a short piece of PVC pipe, 2 connectors and some PVC glue...much less expensive and it works!
