Finally, Shapewear That Smooths Without Suffocating You
Finally, shapewear that actually does what it promises. This high-waisted short smooths and supports without that stiff, corset-like feeling. From the moment I pulled them on, I could tell they were designed with real bodies in mind. The fabric feels soft and breathable instead of plasticky, but it still offers impressive smoothing and support. They hold everything in without that “can’t breathe” feeling; I’ve worn them under work dresses, evening gowns, and even jeans, and they stay put all day without rolling or cutting into my thighs. What I especially appreciate is the thoughtful design: a waistband that stays up, seams that don’t show through clothes, and enough stretch that I can move comfortably, even when sitting for long dinners or dancing at weddings. They also wash beautifully and bounce back to their original shape. If you’ve been disappointed by shapewear in the past or are nervous about trying it, this is a great place to start. It’s supportive, discreet under clothing, and genuinely comfortable. The rare combination that actually makes you feel more confident instead of self-conscious. I’m already ordering a second pair.

Super comfortable
This is seriously the most comfortable shape wear i have ever tried. I forget I have it on. Stays in place perfectly. Doesn't work with a tighter fitting pant as you can see the seam of the shape wear on the leg. Works great under a dress, skirt, or loose fit pant.

Comfortable & Breathable
I have tried every girdle and spank ever made, and this one is the most comfortable by far. It is the only one that stays up and does not roll down when I sit. It’s breathable and not constricting. It doesn’t squeeze your legs too tight either. My only complaint is that I wish it was more snug around the lower belly. That area is not being held in by these undergarments. It sucks in your top, but not enough around the lower belly. I still recommend these as the best I’ve ever tried.I would still buy these again because they are really good quality and very comfortable. They arrived very early and I got them for a really good sale price.

Possible Merchant Error
Lots of the reviews described the product being too big when ordering the size according to the chart. The shorts fit, but they didn't really provide the support expected. On the advice of a few, I purchased a size xs/s instead of m/l like I normally do.When I looked at the shorts, I thought there was no way that I was going to be able to fit my skinny-squishy 165lb body in those itty-bitty things. But I did. And without much effort at all. They're tight, but they're not snatching my waist like they're supposed to. Everything is smoothed out. No bulges. And I can breathe, but it didn't shape my stomach. My stomach is still pooching out like it did before. There's just smooth flub-blub now instead of multiple flub-blubs and no muffin top (which is nice).I sat down on the bed to see if it was possible to still breathe (it was) and I looked at the package. On the back of the package it says "Plus-size black small" and it now makes sense why I am able to wear it.I'm 5'11. 165lbs. All of my weight is in my stomach, hips, and thighs. I wear a size 10-12 in jeans.Plus-sized clothing is made specifically to accommodate a body type that is beautifully voluptuous. Plus-sized clothing is labeled "16W" or "16 curvy" fur example. The W or curvy indicating that it will fit a fuller figured individual. I know there's not a small in plus-size, but I think I've figured it out nonetheless:I have a friend that wears a size 14 curvy which is another way to tell the shopper that this product is constructed differently from a size 14 regular. The curvy or the W are constructed in a way that allows a fuller figure to settle comfortably unlike the regular that would be far too tight and constricting in the waiste, knees, and calves. Anyway...I checked on Amazon and found a plus-size Shapermint, high waisted shaper shorts that can be purchased in size S-3xl. These shorts are made like the curvy or W to accommodate curves that a woman who wore a regular small would not have. I believe the seller may have accidentally shipped a plus-sized garment when the purchaser wanted a regular rather than plus. And I think that this is why some buyers are talking about sizing down while others are describing being swallowed by a boa constrictor and not being able to breathe, or move, or sit.Maybe if I had a regular small then I'd be complaining about that, too because, trust me, I may be skinny-squishy but I haven't been able to fit into a small anything since 9th grade. And that was 32 years ago. 🤷♀️

Comfortable tummy control!
I wear a size 14 pants (XL) I purchased the XL-1X size. They were very comfortable and the legs rolled up a tiny bit occasionally, the top never rolled down once... if you wanted more tummy control perhaps go down a size. They are equivalent for as a pair of control top panty hose.. (if you are of a certain age you will know what I mean) just what I was looking for for. I was comfortable all evening. Easy to put on and take off. The waist band came all the way up to just under my bra. Again and did not roll down. I highly recommend them.
