My doctor suggested using poles due to arthritis in my hip and back issues. These are just perfect , keeping me steady and walking. And being able to fold up makes them easy for travel. In just seconds they open up nice and sturdy.They come with attachments for indoor, rocky surfaces, ice, snow and mud. Can't wait to use these for some hiking.

I finally got a chance to really use these. I love that they breakdown to fit in my carryon suitcase. One of the sticks was perfect and worked as expected. The other did not. It could not keep the extension that I set it on. I hand tightened the screw but it didn’t hold. Luckily this set was split up between my sister and I for this trip so I didn’t mind that my stick was shorter than the other. The tips held up and the handgrips were comfortable. I will probably just use them in the unextended position in the future if I can’t get the second stick to hold position.

I use a staff when I fly fish because I am old and fat. I had one for several years made by Fishpond and it broke. This staff is engineered exactly like the Fishpond unit. It collapses to exactly the same dimensions and fits perfectly in the old Fishpond sheath, which is very convenient. Simms and Orvis sell their "Pro" wading staffs for over $200. I'd put this staff up against those units any day. This is my best Amazon purchase of 2025!

I've had these poles for about a year and I have to say that it's probably one of the best gear investments I've made. I decided to upgrade to an ultralight trekking pole tent and obviously needed poles, so I ordered these. They definitely function for that purpose but I had no idea what I was missing before I ordered them. I used to think trekking poles were kind of silly, but then I injured my knee pretty badly on a overnight trip up a mesa. I had to descend around 1000 feet over about a mile first thing in the morning before hiking another five miles over rough terrain to the car, all on an injured knee with a loaded pack. The only reason I made it back to the car unassisted was because of these poles. They're super sturdy, very packable, and overall a great value. I have yet to have any trouble with them, but for the price, I'd gladly replace them if I did. There are definitely lighter poles out there, but since I use mine for hiking pretty continuously, weight is less of an issue. No regrets on this purchase.

I bought these to help me walk on the Oregon Trail on a vacation I took to Nebraska and Wyoming. I began using these poles t home a few months before we took off for the trail. These poles have several bottoms that are appropriate for different types of walking paths; snow, sidewalks, dirt, etc. Very sturdy… I weigh 225 lbs. and these poles kept my posture more erect as well as my balance was improved. They are foldable and I put them in my luggage! I love them! Great product!

I purchased these for hiking in the mountains for a recent vacation. Hiked down a few steep areas to reach waterfalls and rivers. Poles set up in a few seconds. Very sturdy. The design prevents collapses that often occur with other brands. Stows away nicely after hike. Just make sure that you pull out the first section until you hear the 'click' and you see that the silver bead is visible.
