Much better use on a rifle with raised optics. Pistol will need a red dot to see. The raised wrap is higher than even my suppressor height sights.

Sub Tac is a horrible company. They do NOT respond to emails. Their products are literal cheap Chinese crap. I have only used this wrap for 3 short range sessions and the underneath material is starting to clump and frey. The straps are cheap too and the Velcro is sperating from the nylon. EVERYTHING is single stitched and the treads are coming out. There is no way to secure the Paracord or straps to the wrap itself and no matter how tight you make it the heat makes the cheap material expand and become loose after a couple mags. This piece of junk won't last 6 months even if you treat it like a baby. Buy Burn Proof Gear, their products are actually high quality but it's a bit more expensive. You get what you pay for.

This cover is useless. It won't stay on the suppressor and you can't cinch it tight enough to make it stay. After 15 to 20 rounds it flies off the front.

Just received the wrap in the mail. Just from the look and feel, I believe it’s a solid product. I will be doing a follow up review with the item when I put some rounds through it and have had it for a while.

This is a great cover. Looks and works great. I will buy more
