Soft metal lost all waffle head in 2 weeks framing.
Soft metal head and lost all waffle head in 2 weeks of residential framing.I wear my hammer behind me and this handle is the exact length to hit me in the back of the knee cap while walking. Also when bending down, beware the handle hitting the ground pushing the head upward. This causes the handle to then cantilever up into your scrotum.I framed for 20 yrs and will never buy this hammer again.

Great value
This is a great hammer, light handle with a strong stiking face. Very well designed. I use this every day (construction/framing) and am more and more pleased with its performace. The handle can get slippery in the snow and rain so I put some hockey tape around it. This is better than several other hammers which are twice the price.

Manufacture error
Bad:I had to put a nail (wedge) in the handle first day because the head slipped by almost an 8th of and inch.Good: The hammer head and handle are really nice and well made it looks just like the picture and feels great and looks good in your bags

TERRIBLE HAMMER!
Terrible hammer. Swings with great power and is very comfortable. But it broke on the first day on the job. I’m a framer and put a lot of trust into my hammer. I tried to tear a nail out of a beam and the hammer snapped in half almost instantly. Would NOT recommend for any type of work related use. Super disappointed. A regular wooden hammer from the Home Depot is cheaper and lasts me for up to 3 or 4 years of constant beatings and use. I would submit no stars but amazon doesn’t allow it.

Great thumb smasher
Good feel in the hand, hits hard with little effort. Highly recommend this hammer. The price is half of DEWALT and 1/10th of stiletto. And if you happen to lose it or some scumbag steals it, it’s not as heartbreaking.

Almost an amazing hammer
Everything was great with this purchase - my only complaint is the metallic “ping” on every nail

There’s no way this was a real death on.
This was after only a few uses. I have never had a death on do that. Ever.

One flaw...
This would be such a nice hammer, but the "S7 Steel" is VERY soft. The milled face on mine flattened out after about 5 days of use in residential carpentry. The handle geometry and balance is the best I have ever felt, and i'm truly disappointed their metallurgy is lacking.
