ZULU Atlas Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Sleeve

I have bought so many water bottles in the past. I'm pretty picky out what I like. I don't like straws or screw on tops and I need something that can take a hit but doesn't takes like metal. I've only ever bought plastic water bottles so this is my first glass one. It makes a funny popping sound when you open the top, but the top is made really well and I love the design. I had to take the silicone off and wash it because the smell was bugging me but it was a little annoying to put it back on. Overall this thing is awesome and at a price better than the plastic bottles I've had before. I've dropped my old plastic bottle off the top of my car so if it happens with this glass bottle I'll be updating my review to let you guys know if it can REALLY take a hit.UPDATE (1 1/2 years later:Been using this every day since agnes it'a been amazing. I've dropped it like 3 times and not a single crack has formed. The only sign of wear is in the cap. The string is getting slightly frayed and the plastic grip on the string has a .5 inch rip on one side. But I'm so surprised at how well its held up.**TIP**Make sure to clean the cap regularly. It gets dirty where the glass opening meets the plastic in the cap.

This is the third one that I have purchased. The water bottle itself rocks! Its style, capacity and ease of use are all excellent. What SUCKS is: in the description it says that the bottle includes the locking feature. Sadly, it DID NOT include the locking feature. This was my THIRD time making this purchase. The first one included the locking feature. The last two I purchased DID NOT. Not sure why they would advertise this feature and not send it.

I had this bottle for three years before I finally broke it (while cleaning it with the cap REMOVED, I dropped it and the lip smacked the wall of the sink and chipped). Three years of not having to buy bottled water and not having to worry about dropping or knocking it over(Cap ON of course!), three years of a cool, reliable, thick glass bottle. Needless to say, after I broke it(soapy fingers!), I bought it again, in navy blue this time. So long as the product remains unchanged, so will my choice in durable glass bottles. Hats off to Zulu, this bottle has made a lifelong customer out of me.

I loved this so much, I have since given the same product (different colors) to 2 of my friends for their birthday AND I am considering getting another to keep at home! Thank you, I love drinking out of the glass, the lock keeps the water from spilling on trips and it is easy to manage while driving. I took this on 2 separate trips (vacations) & was so very glad I did. I don't like wasting money buying water. We have a water machine at work so I know I am getting purified water, but don't have to drink out of plastic (plus I am helping the environment!). Thank you,

I love that it’s glass. And you are drinking directly from glass ... not through plastic lid.It is very easy to carry around ... it has small loop.Exactly what I was looking for.

It’s decent, but pretty heavy for my kids to carry in their backpacks.

Oh, how I love my Zulu glass water bottle! I take my hot tea to work in it every morning. It doesn’t leak, and always looks great. Its silicone sleeve makes for a comfortable non-slip grip. I adored my previous generation Zulu glass water bottle which had served me well for over a year until I dropped it on a concrete floor, shattering it. I really couldn’t fault the bottle for breaking under such circumstances and was eager to replace it with another quality product. I'm very happy with the looks and quality of this water bottle.

At first, I absolutely loved this bottle as it fit in the side pocket of my back pack, however it tipped over one day and just like that the lid would not stay screwed on and was broke. Now it leaks and the lid replacement always seems sold out.

I was looking for a glass water bottle for some time before I found this one. It's heavy but sturdy and with the rubber wrap it can take a good knock or two. The lid lock is particularly useful when this is in my bag or my small children find it lying around somewhere. (NB: try not to leave it lying around for your children to find...)I'm used to using a "one-handed" bottle where the release is on the back side of the bottle so it took me a little while to settle with this thumb operated one, and sometimes the lid can get stuck on your finger behind and not open fully but these are user errors so not a product fault.The only thing that bugs me is the approx. 500ml capacity but if it was larger, then the bottle would be very heavy...All in all I like this and would happily recommend it.

Great, I love the rubber around it because is not slippery.
