HDE HDMI Converter for Nintendo Wii 1080p HD Video Adapter Adapter Audio/Video Output for HDTVs

todays products can be a little fussy what you plug into them. even though the lg comes with composite video it seemed like it did not want towork out very well. i never knew this product existed until i started looking for an alternate solution. this product don't work good, this productworks fantastic. our original wii is still running and the exercise programs are more than a big plus. the board for the wii is still well used.a person could not ask for anything better than this wii2hdmi product, wished i had found it a few years earlier as hdmi has been out forquite a long time now.

Was using a capture card that only has HDMI input, and needed to capture from my Wii console for a Twitch stream.This was the perfect solution. Worked exactly as it states, it's obviously not going to make the output resolution of the Wii console itself any better, but the image you get is clear.As a bonus, it has a 3.5mm audio jack as well, so I could route the audio directly into the mixer I was using.Very specific in it's uses, but absolutely perfect item for my situation.

Using this simple. Insert the adapter into the video/audio port of the Wii, insert an HDMI cable into the adapter, attach other end of HDMI cable to HDMI port on TV. Done.What I like about this is the simplicity and that it works.What I don't like about it is it is not a very snug fit into the Wii. If the console, the cable or the adapter get jiggled the color, sound or video/audio is lost depending on how misfit the adapter has become. Resecure it and everything works again. Also, the green LED is bright, a distraction.

We still enjoy playing our Wii but after buying new tv's found we could no longer connect it. This adapter works great. Well worth the money.

I can't really say that this thing works. I expected to see 16x9 output on my HD TV, but the output is in 4:3 format. Not sure if that is a limitation of my Wii. I have a 1st generation Wii I believe. In addition, there is no sound coming out of the TV, which I expect means there is no sound coming thru the HDMI connection with this thing, and it's not like I have an old tech TV, it is very new. So that's two strikes. I think I'm just going to have to return it as an unsatisfied customer.

Did not last very long. Two days after my 30 day return window it died on me. When you look at all of these adapters for sale they all look like the same Chinese junk.

Works as advertised. My only quirk about it is how long it is. It's so long that I have to position my Wii at an angle because it will not sit flush in my entertainment center cabinet when facing straight forward. Because of this I have to turn my entire console to an angle just to have it sit completely on the stand. The cabinet is 12 inches long. The WII is approximately 9 inches long. The adapter is about 2 inches long, and my HDMI cable protrudes from it about 1 1/2 inches from the adapter. It definitely works. I just wish my WII was facing forward instead of sideways.

El adaptador funciona bien en general. Cuando pones el modo 480 p al principio muestra algo de ondulación en la imagen pero se reduce minutos después. Lo que sí debe cambiar es la mala publicidad de 1080p por que es falso. Como todos los de sus tipo solo llega a 480p.
