GOOD BURGER PRESS
I like the width. But if you're a person who likes to split a pound of ground beef in quarters, the patty will be more so flat. So you need to make at least 1/3 lb patties. What I do is put saran wrap inside the mold then place the meat inside and form it to the edge, fold over the extra wrap, then press lightly to form the patty. Comes out easy-peasy, no mess. Put the patty on a parchment round, keep making more.

Patty Press
Used ground turkey, I had no trouble forming patties and release. Perhaps as time maybe wipe a bit of vegetable oil with a paper towel. So meat doesn't stick. Worked well .

Makes small patties
I wanted a metal one of these (as opposed to the usual plastic) because of the force needed to press down on the lid. This is metal but it's kind of a soft aluminum.I was surprised at how small this was and the patties it makes are likewise smaller than most people make by hand. The meat tends to stick to the metal so use the wax paper inserts they give you (and order some more of those).

Convenient burger press
This hamburger press was awesome! Even though you can only make one at a time, I used it to mold 30 burgers for Easter and it didn’t take long at all. The size of the burgers were great too! Clean up was a breeze because the handle unscrews from the top of the press and you can pack away the item in three pieces.

Works pretty good.
I made some ground chuck burgers , and some chicken burgers. At first I just put hamburger in and could not get it out. Put a wax paper first before putting in meat , and the put another wax paper on top of meat before pressing. Also when cooking chicken patties, remember to take the wax paper off , you cant really see the wax paper.

Ok
Meat gets stuck in bottom of you don't have parchment paper. After a year of having it I just use the top part to make smash burgers.

Burger meat comes right out without the paper liners.
With Covid-19, our grocery store stopped selling preformed burger patties, so this little device was a great purchase. It's easy to use, the patties fall right out without using the paper liners, and the burger size, although slightly smaller than the store's premade patties, fit regular buns pretty well. We buy a pound of ground beef and make four patties.
