This transformer is super cool and is 5 yr old approved! Reasonable price, pretty easy to maneuver, pretty durable. My 5 yr old loves it !!!

Really well made and durable. It has been almost a year since I bought this this for my son and it is still in very good condition. He does not play gently with it either. I really am happy with this purchase.

Reviewing Transformers Playskool Heroes Rescue Bots Optimus Prime 4.5 inch action figure. Just like the other Transformers Rescue Bots: Griffin Rock Team (Amazon Exclusive) set and Bumblebee, Optimus Prime is an excellent, well made toy that is a true easy one step transformer. Once we showed my 3 year old grandson how to change from robot to vehicle and back again he quickly ran to add it to his set. He’s played with them everyday since Christmas. These are all sturdy toys and the sizes are perfect for smaller hands.

My 4 year old nephew loved it and had a lot of fun, so that's what's most important to me.In terms of quality. it seems very stable but the wheels aren't the best.As a Transformer, it's a great toy for toddlers. The transforming function is very easy to do, even for toddlers if you show them how it works.As a truck, it doesn't really roll. It just slid across the hardwood floor as the wheels didn't really rotate very well. I noticed him using it more in robot mode than truck mode.

Grandson loves this toy.

We love this very sturdy version of Optimus Prime. He is a favorite of a very active 5 year old boy. Optimus has survived flying off the playground slide and all the rough play that happens with a typical kid. He still looks new after a year of heavy play.

I think this figure is very disappointing. It was much smaller than expected -- the product pictures do not do it justice for proportions. It is also of a cheap quality plastic. The item is definitely worth about half of what it retailed for. However, my four year old son loves it, and they are inseparable. He picked it himself as a sticker chart prize and thinks that it is awesome. It is also relatively easy to transform. He did comment that it is missing some type of exhaust-pipe detail from his shoulders, so it doesn't match the cartoon.
