GY50 Yogurt Maker, Plastic, Clear and White

Brilliant product , I made yogurt in the instant pot and it made yogurt but with too much weigh , wasn’t thick or creamy , but the second batch I made I used the euro cuisine gy50 , and after leaving it 5 to 6 hours the yogurt was nice thick and creamy, but for abit of plastic I did think it was abit pricey , and had to wait a long time for shipment .

Perfect the only thing I would change about it is it's not big enough I have a yogurt monster and he eats it quicker than I can make it

This is a perfect device, no regrets whatsoever. We use it every weekend to strain our yoghurt. My daughters adore the homemade yoghurt.

A bit pricey to order overseas and a one trick pony as far as I know but there isn’t anything better that I’ve used. Great yogurt.

Let’s a lot of yogurt through the central column as there are just holes there and no gauze. Difficult to get out. I’ve gone back to using the muslin cloths

Second purchase of this item - my own fault, I damaged the first one putting the filter in the dishwasher - not recommended, the mesh is too delicate. This is the only one that would fit in my medium-sized fridge, as other brands are either taller or jug-shaped. This one filters perfectly within 24 hours to create the best greek yogurt which can then be spooned into a tupperware box and stored in the fridge for at least a week. The filtered whey is a great addition to home-made bread dough too, so there's no waste! It's a very pricey item because it ships from the EU or US, but if it's used with care a repeat purchase shouldn't be necessary.
