This is my favorite face wash!

This product was given to me by my roommate who was a Body Shop psycho. I could not afford her lifestyle, did not ask for it, did not care and did not expect anything positive to come out of it. I was in my late 30s and had learned to co-exist with my facial skin a long time ago. I used it rather faithfully because it was a relatively expensive gift given to me for free and it was right there at my sink. MY SKIN IMPROVED!! I woke up one day with a smooth face that I had not seen since pre-puberty. I will not claim that the smoothness lasted forever or anything like that, but I enjoyed using it. Since that time, I have spent long periods without stocking the product. I have, however, bought this product twice and used it, and bought another Body Shop product that I did not use.

I absolutely love this product line! I’m currently using the face wash foam, the face wash scrub, the pore minimizer, and the face mask. I recently tried a new facewash, Mary Kay’s Botanical line and within a week my face had broken out so bad that no amount of makeup was covering it. I instantly regretting trying it. I switched over to this in hopes of clearing my face up quick. (I’ve never really suffered from acne, minus the occasional break out.) Within a week my skin had noticeably cleared up. It smells amazing, it’s all natural, and it really clears you up. Not to mention your skin feels amazing after using it. My fiancé even uses it because it’s “not girly”. I’m so glad I found this line and I will never switch again!

The Body Shop tea tree skin cleanser has been a frequent step in my facial cleansing routine. I swapped this out with my Cetaphil oil control foaming cleanser after I noticed I was still having some major issues with blemishes.I've read, as I'm sure many others have, that oil, like just about everything in the world, is good in moderation. Some people suggest removing it all while cleansing causes an overproduction of it, so I swapped to this, knowing tea tree is a natural aniseptic and would be a good cleanser.I have to knock one star off for the combination of smell and foam quality. The smell, while expected with tea tree, is strong, and there's no attempt whatsoever to add anything else that is natural that might counterbalance it.The foam is inconsitent. It can be really water at times, and can be hard to massage in before dripping off the face.Other than those very minor complaints, I really love this stuff. I combine it with La Roche Pose's medicated was, which is far more like a silky gel. With that stuff, a tiny drop goes a long way. I use this to clean and cleanse first, and the La Roche to medicate the skin that's blemished.

I rarely write reviews but I’ve been using this face wash for a while now after using cetaphil and SA face washes. This helps keep my face clear by just using it at night whereas as with other face washes I could still expect some stubborn acne every now and then. It helps keep my Seb derm manageable as well and doesn’t dry the face. Washes off super easy too which is a plus for me because I like to minimize my time in the bathroom as much as possible. Only downside is the bottle is relatively small. Lasts about 2 months for me. I just buy 2 at a time when I restock.

I was pleasantly surprised by this face soap. I have really sensitive skin that reacts to everything. This has really cleared my face up. I’ve also been able to use it on my eyelids with no issues.I will note that this soap is very drying. I use it in combination with Aveno ultra calming face lotion.This soap has a pretty strong scent but unlike some other tea tree soaps I’ve used, the fumes/smell doesn’t burn my eyes when I use it on my eye lids. Also, I do really like the smell of tea tree. I know some people don’t.I will definitely buy this product again.

I purchased two bottles and they both came in with 1/3rd of the product missing, as it had leaked out during transport. There was no factory sealing of any kind on the bottles, so there’s no way of knowing whether the product I received was tampered with or not.

I've been using this face wash since I was in high school, it's one of my favorites since it smells great, the foam feels great to put on, and it's not too drying. I have gotten this both from Amazon and in store, but I will say since I've seen a few comments about this, I've never had it come packaged which I don't think is necessarily suspicious. I don't think I've ever worried about it being a used product, if you check the dispenser, you can see when it's been used since product will be inside it.I absolutely adore this cleanser and have recommended it to several people in real life and would recommend it online as well!
