The media could not be loaded. Going to college in sunny Southern California, my daughter told me that she loves to study on the lawn, but she would stuff a towel into her backpack to do it. I wanted to find something that will let her study outside without having a lot of grass and dirt sticking to her blanket.The Scuddles Extra Large Picnic Blanket was just the thing. I purchased the smallest one and it turned out really good for my daughter.What I found that I liked about this blanket was that it had a comfortable cloth on one side and a smooth polyester material on the other, and a bit of foam inside the blanket. The polyester side is smooth so that no leaves or grass will stick to it and is easy to clean off. The cloth and foam side makes this blanket more comfortable than a simple towel.To fold it up, just fold the sides toward the middle where the flap is, then fold toward the flap and secure with the velcro on the flap. Another blanket that I have was very tricky to fold and secure because it was guesswork as far as which direction to fold in so that the cloth straps will loop correctly.What I really like about this when I first received it was how light it was. It barely adds any weight to my daughter's backpack when she has this blanket in it. The only tricky thing is that the whole thing is a bit thick when folded up, making it take up a lot of room in the pack. I think a shoulder strap might have worked well for it.Overall, this is a good blanket that is quick to deploy and quick to clean up. Good quality overall.

I am gifting the second one to my adult daughter.We live on a farm in a valley between a large lake and and the Green Mountains — so in spring, summer and fall, we are outside all the time. Beach blankets and such are fun but the collect dirt and moisture. I got this picnic blanket on the orange stripe and later purchased it in blue.The tartan stripes are in classic colors and looks nice and would be suitable for any age or any occasion.The water proof or resistant backing is a game changer. it’s looks “fancy” but the brown area is actually a pocket and a space for a phone, some wet wipes, sunscreen or big spray or whatever. It’s easy to unroll and set up and re-roll - great performance, and looks nice in trunk — and on the ground.I am very pleased with the style and practicality of this.

Wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered thisI was pleasantly surprisedwater proof underside, very soft cloth like material on the top side, folds up easily and to a manageable size.

We've been using this picnic blanket for about a month, every weekend for picnic at grassy area and beach. Overall, I am satisfied with our new blanket, but also wondering if I should have bought one made with polyester or other water-proof material.What I like...- Good size for family of four: 2 adults and 2 toddlers have no problem sitting and lying down on this blanket.- Waterproof and Sand proof: The back of the blanket uses waterproof material. It kept us dry on somehow wet gras. The sand comes off easily at the beach too.- Thick layer: I wouldn't say it's super soft, but it is comfortable enough to sit and lie down for few hours.What I would want improvement on...- The front layer uses acrylic. It's smooth and nice, but hard to wipe the stains and muddy dirt from the front. It also takes time to dry when you spill something.- It's not hard to fold, but you do need to fold this in a certain way so that the Velcro can stick to its original state. It might have been helpful if there was an instruction on the back of the blanket.

PERFECT OUTDOOR BLANKET🔆 I really love this picnic blanket.The size is perfect, one of the biggest that I have found on the market….really useful. The picnic blanket can be used outdoors or indoors, very convenient. I'm going to have my first kid right away, and I think she'll be enjoy playing on it. Also the material is very very good, the back is waterproof design, suitable for outdoor or children playing on it. Water resistant-it was nice to not have the wet ground soak through the blanket.It comes with a carrying strap so that I can put the blanket inside, I think it's a good product and would definitely purchase it again! It's lightweight & easy to carry! Also the price is really good. I'm glad I found this product. You will love it too! Perfect for gifting!!!

These are great. They are very large, they are easy to bring to the beach and our guests really like them. Machine washable too.
