(2) Tastykake Chocolate Cup Cakes Family Packs

Who doesn’t like a good “mud pie”. That is what we used to call these in Philly in 1969. They haven’t changed which is saying something. Personally I have but let’s not go there. They are still the same ever so slightly chewy chocolatey cake with the sheet of icing on top. I am in NC now and was happy to be able buy these on Amazon. No they do not taste like the cup cakes your mother made but they are still good

Like other reviewers, I had these when growing up in NJ during the 50's and 60's, and left them behind when the family moved to New England. Tastykakes have appeared in the region over the years, but never stuck around. Great to be able to get them fresh on Amazon.

Moved to CO and they don't sell here in the stores so I bought on line, can't say I would buy again. The taste is fine but they were much more dry that if you get in the store and I have found this to be true with others flavors I have bought on line as well. Wouldn't buy again unless I could get in the store :(Guess I will have to survive without tastykake

Love these things and can't get them where I live. The upside of ordering these (which honestly surprised me) was how fresh they were! They were delicious - just as I remembered them! It's a shame that they're so much more expensive than they would be if I could simply buy them in my local grocery store. Alas, I cannot so this was an acceptable alternative as an occasional purchase!

Oh Em Gee. We remember these from our childhood in Philadelphia. Once we moved to the south the only way to get Tastykake was to take a trip up north and bring them back. Occasionally the supermarket carries Tastykake but for some reason they are prejudiced against the chocolate cupcakes. So I went online and Voila!! Real chocolate cupcakes like we remembered from 5 decades ago.

Have been missing these for years as no stores near me carry them. They were one of my favorite treats growing up in Pennsylvania. These days I eat almost no sweets, but LOVE being able to sometimes satisfy a craving for these plain old chocolate cupcakes. They can't be beat.

Exactly as delicious as I always remembered!!! Grew up eating these every time we visited my grandmother in Pennsylvania. Sometimes stores in the south might carry some of the products from TastyKake- but usually not the chocolate cupcakes. These will always have my heart... Please tell Harris Teeter and Publix and Walmart, etc.. we need the chocolate cupcakes!!!
