Get it, won't disappoint!
Just what I was looking for, fit perfectly in my 13 F250. Able to wirelessly mirror my s9 and control it from stereo screen seamlessly. Just ground the green wire (parking) to unit itself, just loosened one screw, twisting stripped wire and tighten. Now can use Maps from phone for navigation or...... Sounds awesome, very bright screen with lil glare if any!

Definitely worth considering
Wireless car play is a godsend. The screen is pretty responsive and the install wasn't too complicated. My only complaint is that in direct sunlight it can be hard to see at times due to the glare. But otherwise I'm completely satisfied with the product. It's competively priced to other brands, you'd have to spend a few extra hundred dollars to get wireless carplay/Android auto from other brands. Definitely worth considering!

Not buying another Kenwood
The most recent firmware update is supposed to address random disconnects of Android auto that have been going on for a looong while. As many others have found on Google support forums some head units would randomly disconnect. For me it was rare, but it would happen. I still have to give this more time to be sure it's truly resolved. The more annoying issue for me is not being able to adjust the call audio volume. For an incoming call, this is not a problem, but if I use Google assistant to call someone, I can't adjust the call volume. The wrong volume bar is coming up and being adjusted. This leaves me with no choice besides manually going into the phone app on the screen and calling someone from there. Doing it that way allows me to adjust the call volume fine. Clearly, it's not as safe as using voice commands via Google assistant to dial someone which is the whole point of a system like this. The latest update did not fix this.Note to anyone who updates the latest firmware, after the update I was having issues with call audio not automatically going over my speakers. I had to restart my phone to fix that.Update,After recently using my car for longer trips with the latest firmware, I am still getting disconnected randomly. It's not often but now reconnecting is a longer process then it was before so the update made things worse in my case.I'm really disappointed in Kenwood and Google. The reason anyone buys a head unit like this is for Android auto (or car play) . Paying a lot of money to get those features and not have it work properly is very annoying to say the least. Even if this is not a Kenwood problem and it's a Google problem, I won't be buying a Kenwood again. Kenwood and other 3rd parties should be working with Google to get things sorted out or at least put pressure on Google to fix it. It's making their products look bad after all. I guess the aftermarket radio scene is dying since OEMs are putting this tech in new cars already? Still doesn't make it right to put out half working products.

Quality stereo receiver
This thing is awesome, my car feels like a decade newer model. The wireless CarPlay works perfectly, just make sure you download the latest update from Kenwood so you can use wireless CarPlay without having to connect the VSS (speed pulse) wire.
