Hi there. I see that this product uses quite a few oils. My understanding is that most oils are pore clogging. How does the wash not make acne worse?

The oils we use in our formula have been saponified (meaning turned into soap), so they are no longer in pore clogging form, if that makes sense. I hope this helps. Is this soap free facial cleanser?

No. Saponified oils (as is described in the ingredient list) means that the potassium hydroxide (a form of lye) mixed with the oils to make soap. But that's okay. REAL soap is actually very good for your skin. It has glycerin in it which is very moisturizing. Don't fear it. I'm sure this product is wonderful.

Is it tested on animals
