WORX WG291 56V 24" Cordless Electric Hedge Trimmer

Finally used it to do the normal shrubs trimming - charged battery and went to town. Once I got the feel (it is a little heavy) I found it performed flawlessly. Cut well, as I "combed" each bush, the trimming fell until I had a nice shaped shrub with a million whacks with my old two-hand clippers. Trimmed four large bushes and check battery power button and it only decreased by on LED. Very satisfied.

Easy to handle with good battery life.

The supplier and the transaction were perfect. The trimmer works well. It eliminates my former need for an extension cord for an electric trimmer. My one complaint is it requires two hands to press separate 'on' buttons on the two handles. I'm not sure if this is now a global nanny state requirement for all new trimmers, but it prevents using the trimmer with one hand to reach the far side of a hedge.

This trimmer is a powerhouse. Battery life is exceptional. We live on 2 acres and there is always a hedge or tree somewhere that needs trimming. This thing is awesome and very quiet compared to a gas powered trimmer. You also don’t get that awful smell on your clothes from the gasoline. Win, Win!!

I am a WORX fan! I absolutely love the products and have several. I already owned the 56v lawn mower so purchasing this was a no brainer. Be advised, the company has discontinued the 56v power-share products so replacement batteries and parts may be difficult.

Well, this thing worked terrifically from January until September. Just around the house, not commercial or anything. Just stopped one day, mid cut. No apparent reason. Didn't see a "Troubleshooting" section in the manual, called customer support (you need your serial number, so have the tool ready) and they were fantastic. Yes, the tool quit after under a year, however it was really good for that almost a year, and the CS person said they'd fix it. So, five stars. I'd buy it again, even with it quitting it's that good.

Although I bought the trimmer with battery in 2017, I only used this about 10 times over 3 years. The trimmer cut my Eugenia hedge well. It worked great for a while. But the battery failed within 3 years. I can't believe that a lithium battery would fail after so few uses. I did not leave the battery in the trimmer when not being used. So, that was not the problem with the battery being drained between uses. Just a warning that the battery is almost as costly as the trimmer. So you may want to think twice about buying this trimmer, when it will not take a charge after several uses. I guess I should go back to electrical trimmers.

I'm so glad I was able to fined this hedge trimmer on Amazon! I have a Worx grass trimmer and it works so good I have been wanting to get this hedge trimmer and now I fine it is very good too! It's so nice not to have to deal with a cord, yet this trimmer has plenty of lasting power!

Excellent machine....a little heavy but overall excellent...!
