India's Biggest CoverUp
N**T
The ultimate stepping stone to the build up of Netaji's Files De-classification.
This is one of the few books out there, which define what "Meticulous" research should be. With so limited information available and the undeterred efforts of Anuj Dhar, this book is a fantastic example of how neutral writing should be. Mr. Dhar provides a fantastic build up to 23rd Jan 2016, when Netaji's files will be finally de-classified. All these years of deception by successive governments, the cover-ups, the leaked information only adds to the mystery of Netaji substantially. There are some thrilling moments in the book, where I felt that I was reading some sort of a Frederick Forsyth type of fictional novel but it was not so in the end. This book will make the reader realize that how we have let down, probably the greatest Indian, who was the actual force in setting up the tone for our independence. The author covers almost all the angles possible to the disappearance theory and also has covered the people who virtually back stabbed Netaji. The expected sycophancy for congress and for one particular family is proven beyond doubt that the people who were entrusted with the responsibility to bring out the truth ended jumbling the whole case and wrote what some powerful people wanted the country to read. However, the author completely exposes this and does this by using established facts and records. All in all, this book has changed a certain part of my thinking permanently and I now know whom to worship and thank for the independence of India!!!

A book with many information to consider
This is an interesting book. It has many information with some copies of authentic letters included. The importance of the book to me was those letters. At many places I did differ with the author's interpretation. But at the same time it helped me to arrive at my own conclusion. The author took a very negative position with respect to Jawaharlal Nehru. The letters of Nehru did not give me any impression that he was part of some conspiracies against Netaji. The decision for not allowing/opposing Shah Nawaz Commission's visit to Taiwan , I viewed it as consistent with that time's ( 1950s) situation. India had a Kashmir problem since Aug 15, 1947. Probably, Nehru thought that it was not advisable to annoy Red China. In fact, I felt based on the facts presented in the book, Bidhan Roy, Subimal Dutt, and bunch of other Bengalis , including some family members of Netaji were part of "such" conspiracy, if there was any. Both in front of the Shah Nawaz and Khosla commission, many Bengalis who otherwise pretended to have great respect for Netaji played dubious roles. Shame! The role of respected B. C Roy was particularly shameful. It seemed to me that Netaji had many enemies as did Tagore or Vivekanada. We Bengalis are in a sense, coward, greedy, lazy, mean-minded, big-talk-little-action, quarrelsome and jealous bunch of people. That is why after the independence we lost our place and position we used to have in pre-independence India. The book helped me to understand clearly several things:1. Netaji didn't die of air crash2. Netaji was a selfless man. He never put his interest above India's interest. He was not merely a freedom fighter. He was a true worshiper of mother India and her people-- without any consideration of cast , religion, or creed. To him India was above anything and nothing was worth more than the nation.3. He was above any hate and self ambition. When Kamala Nehru was unwell and was sent to Vienna with daughter Indira Gandhi (nee Nehru), it was Subash Bose received them at Vienna and took good care of them. Netaji was a man of big heart!!! His training came from the Vedas and in true sense of Tantra through Ramakrishna Paramahansa and Swami Vivekanada.4. He was a fearless man and was a "Joddha Sanyasi"--- Warrior Saint. Many things we will have to leave for history to judge. Unfortunately, this will be one such event. Historians will argue and debate and, it seems to me, will never be able to come to any conclusion. Also, before we embark on allegation of any conspiracy let's step back and ask--- what Netaji would have wanted? It seems to me, from the facts presented in the book, he really wanted to fade away and disappear with no one trying to find him. That is very clear from all the facts presented in the book. In that case, conspiracy or not, really does not matter.Having said that, few things should be done to stop some unnecessary controversies and blame games. I am saying this to opine on few suggestions made in the book as next steps.1. There should be a DNA test or whatever test is possible to find out the truth of the ashes kept in the Renkoji temple. If it is of Netaji's, the grateful nation should do the needful and it also will put to rest all chattering including blame games. With DNA technology improving such test should be now possible.2. If ashes are not of Netaji's , Govt. of India should let some responsible honest ( assuming that there are some left in India)people to see all classified files on Netaji and make a determination. There should be short report out stating the facts and at the same time not implicate anyone in order to avoid a possible national unrest. We need to move on and at the same time find all facts. Let's not have another useless commission serving no purpose.3. All the letters of Gumnami Baba of Faizabad and of Netaji should be preserved. Science one day may come up with a technology that may help us to find truth using those letters.I hope Mission Netaji work towards those goals. The book is a must read for all those who would like to know more about Netaji. It is a unique work and should be preserved for generations to read. However, while reading this book reader should try to form his/her own opinion without prejudice using many wonderful facts presented. I commend the author for presenting us with many useful facts. This is no doubt the best book I have ever read on Netaji.

Netaji today
This is the most authentic document on the subject of mysterious disappearence of Netaji in 1945.Though, officially, he was declared dead in a plane crash at Formosa, but was never believed by his countrymen.Extensive research of Anuj on this subject, as evident from different documents he cited, shows Netaji did not die in a plane crash at Formosa, it was rather a propaganda formulated by Netaji himself to illude allied forces, after Japan surrendered at the end of WWII. Netaji secretly escaped to Russia. The years Netaji spent in Russia could not be adequately elaborated in this book because of lack of documental evidence. Indian government has been reluctant to pursue this matter with Russian government. It appears that the hierarchical power in the government of India, rather never wanted Netaji's public appearence. Anuj, though did not put his own opinion, cited different convincing evidence to believe that some people who misappropriated the treasures of INA, and Netaji, were mainly interested to hide him from public appearence, otherwise, those bunch of crooks sitting in the helm of the hierarchical power would easily be identified as thieves. Their public image would be trashed.Other possible explanation would be, their political career would be finished if Netaji appeared in India publicly. I say publicly, because according to Anuj, as he explained in his book, Netaji lived in India as an ascetic , known as Bhagwanji, in a small town of UP, called Faizabad.Though, the enigma about the disappearence of Netaji has not yet been deciphered,Anuj has hit the minds of Indians all over the World, who always dreamed of Netaji's return to India with the begining of a new era. It would be unrealistic to think Netaji is still physically alive, but Anuj's book would light up the desire in all Indians to live with the values of love and sacrifice for their motherland. Nationalism is a forbidden word in India, both leftist and rightist don't like it, rather they preach "internationalism", I guess, those bunch of crooks would know now that charity begins at home, you have to practice nationalism to understand "internationalism".

It is truly India's biggest coverup.
I have read many books, fiction as well as non fiction and other genres, but I have not yet come across a book as well researched as this. The author Anuj Dhar has not only given details of the basic theories people have about Subhash Chandra Bose, he has gone into every detail that he could find. From the mystery of the INA treasure to different conspiracy theories each one has been well researched.I checked a few facts myself and the references given in the book. It is all true. I can only imagine the amount of effort put into researching and writing this book Anuj must have gone through. I am sure he has not left any stone unturned in trying to uncover the greatest mystery of India and probably even the world. It is often said that 'Truth is Stranger than Fiction'. If the certain things mentioned in this book are actually true then that statement will have a much better credibility. It is high time that the government must declassify all the documents, files etc. that they have with them regarding Subhash Chandra Bose the person who really gave us our freedom.I can keep on going and writing many marvelous things about this book, the author and Subhash Chandra Bose but I would like to tell the reader that this book must not only be read but the knowledge should be shared and spread as much as possible.Jai Hind

Factually gripping and evidently informative work.
Evidently, among all, Anuj Dhar is the most logical researcher on the Bose mystery and this book stands testimony to that fact. A totally gripping narrative supported by undeniable evidences and logical inferences at every stage, this book will help you form your own theory about the Bosse mystery and lay bare all political machinations of the so-called heavyweights of our political history. A must read for every Indian. Great job done and a service to the people of India by the author.
