OK, so my daughters and granddaughters have been on my case to stop using so much disposable plastic. Since I travel a lot, using plastic utensils and cups that I blithely toss in the trash or (in a best case scenario) a recycling bin was pretty commonplace. My family showed me pictures of marine wildlife that died with many pounds of plastic in their stomachs obstructing digestion, so I knew I had to find a solution. Carrying a cup was pretty easy, but what about those pesky utensils? After a little research, I found this bamboo utensil kit that I now carry in my computer backpack and use instead of the plastic. The utensils are pretty easy to use, although a little bulkier than most other utensils, and certainly worth the effort. The only downside of the bamboo is the inability to dry the utensils after washing, since the wood absorbs the water, but that's not been a big problem. Definitely recommend this kit to save the environment and reduce waste!

I gave this to my sister for her bday and she loved it. It was exactly as pictured and so that was great cuz I got one in teal, her favorite color. It is so perfect for her because she is conscious about the environment and also loves the beach, so she can take it with her and eat on the beach without having to worry about waste. I will buy one for myself! I love bamboo and did you know that it is self-cleaning? That was something new that she taught me. Very cool.

Straight forward bamboo utensils. They wash easily and feel durable. The knife teeth are sparse, the fork ends are broader than what most are used too, but work just as you’d expect. These are qualities I imagine most people are not used to; finer points on forks and teeth on knives. Having two spoons are great in case you eat multiple foods. The wrapping case is a cloth material so washing or wiping the intensive before putting them back in I find necessary as to not soil the cloth; I’ve wrapped my used utensils on the day with a napkin if I can not wash them before returning to the case. I great set for your reusable office, on job site, or camping needs.

Love the easy to use and store pouch. The color coding was fun, too, green for me and black for my partner! The knife works very well, even for cutting top round steak! The straw is perfect - tried it on soft drink and a shake. The cleaner brush works well but a bit hard for me to pull back out (so I used a chop stick through the loop to pull it back out & then no problem). Easy to wash & I allow to air dry. The fork is very sturdy and handled the steak with ease. It was also nice to have two sizes of spoons :)

We bought two sets of these utensils and have used them on a few trips so far and they have been great. We usually like packing light and on the go on our trips and usually try to make our own food. These utensils have help up well so far. Easy to bring along and very light. I would recommend to a friend who needs something on a camping or backpacking trip since these are light and do the job.

I purchased two sets of bamboo utensils before Christmas as gifts for my boyfriend and me. Ever since, I carry my utensils with me everywhere; to work, Japanese restaurants, and friend's homes. If I cannot clean them after using them, I wrap them on a napkin until I can clean them. So far, I have used water and dish soap, and I let them dry. These bamboo utensils are great and I am very happy with my decision of getting them in the first place.

I love this portable utensil kit! I am just starting my reduced waste journey and these are the perfect stepping stone! They feel sturdy and smooth, I have no fear of splinters. The only thing is that the utensils are strange to get used too since the size and texture are different than metal or plastic.

Definitely would have given 5 stars but for the snaps. I ordered 6 sets and 1 barely snaps at all...the other 5 snap but it is not a sturdy snap. Another method of closing would be perfect. Still, I also ordered a different brand - also 6 sets, and altho I really like how it closes, I significantly like the actual tools better in this one!
