Received my Case-Gard RL-50 boxes in translucent blue. Great organizer for the listed calibers. I stored 167gr .30-06 Springfield cartridges, plenty of clearance for them. I may opt to make a foam cutout for the lid so the rounds are really secure but it's definitely not a requirement.It does come with some good labels, though I opted to just cut off the box labels and place it inside the lid since these were for factory rounds (this time) to save me from writing all the load info. Then I used a label maker for an exterior label.Containers are stackable which is a nice feature. Plastic isn't flimsy, and the hinge seems reliable.Lid seems to close without any gaps, but there isn't a gasket so I don't know if I'd call this airtight.For less than five dollary-doos each I would definitely buy again. I think the next product level up from this includes a handle, but it was also more than twice the price.

Amazing value
For the price listed, I was expecting something flimsy that would be "good for right now" until we could find something better for long term storage. Then the package arrived and I was thrilled with the quality of these boxes! The hinges are sturdy and made with a pin so there is no bending plastic to snap apart. The grid in the bottom of the box gives a lot of rigidity and support, and the lids close securely. I will definitely be buying more of these for friends and family! Make sure you get the right size box, and if the type of ammo isn't listed it definitely won't fit, even it if seems "close enough." The grids in the bottom are very precise. My partner assumed that some ammo for one of his older guns would fit due to the length of the cartridges listed, but discovered that the rim makes them too large to fit.

AA BATTERIES DO NOT FIT
Great ammo box; had many over the years and they are perfect for that function.Watched a popular YouTuber demonstrate how MTM boxes can be used for batteries and he recommended this sized box for AA. Read a few reviews on Amazon that stated the same but these do not fit AA batteries.If you need the right size, the 500 S&W box is what you are looking for and actually cheaper.
