Great product for all-day trips in summer!
These work great on a hot day! I bought them specifically for an all day trip to the zoo when it was going to be in the 90s-100s. These are really big, so I cut it into 4 pieces. They cut very easily--the fabric is kind of like a soft foam texture. I kept them in a small plastic ziploc bag in my backpack and we used them in the afternoon. They definitely dry fairly quickly when it's that hot, but it only takes a few seconds to get them wet and cool again. I put two around my kids' necks and tucked under their collars a bit, and they stayed put fairly well. I also used one in between my body and my baby's while carrying her in the baby carrier. It didn't work as well for that purpose as I'd heard--it was just okay. They worked well everywhere else though--heads, necks, arms, feet (because my kids had to try them everywhere!). Clearly, they are also really entertaining and interesting for the 4-11 year old crowd. I might pick up another one!

This material helps you stay nice and cool in really hot and humid weather
This material helps you stay nice and cool in really hot and humid weather. The only problem is the thickness of it as well as it being stuff as cardboard once dry. If you roll it up damp to store, it may get moldy.

It really makes a difference!
I love this thing and won't go to any outdoor festival without it. This is a must for me as I live in Texas. With this I am able to keep cool and it really does make a difference than not wearing one. I have been in long lines at Six Flags and my friends are dying from the heat and complaining, and I'm totally fine, cool, calm, and collected. I wear it to outdoor music festivals, street festivals, theme parks, and any time I know I'm going to be in the heat for a good while. If you can find a good deal, I recommend getting several. It's size is more than enough and you can cut it to whatever you need, I cut mine in half long ways.

Love me some Frogg Toggs!!
I am very happy with this product!! I found out about this product while reading Walt Disney World blogs. Everyone was recommending them, and as we were heading to Disney in June, I bout 2 of the large 33" x 13". They worked very well! I bought the large size and cut them in half to make two frog toggs from each one.The only negative thing others seemed to say was that theirs molded and I could see how that could be true. I had the 2 day shipping and they came in a plastic container. When I pulled them out they were wrapped in a plastic and they were humid and damp inside. If not immediately opened I think it would have molded. And, if shipping had taken longer it might have molded. But, like the directions said, I opened them as soon as I got them, and washed with a mild detergent in my sink. I then folded them in a way to make them pack-able and hung them on a hanger. I did cut them in 1/2 so they were smaller but I folded in a small square to dry so they'd fit in my suitcase because as they get dry they become very stiff so expect that. To activate we just wet in a sink and wrapped around our neck. They work with evaporation so I had to keep moving it around so all parts would be exposed to the air. It didn't work well under the edge of my shirt or under a hat. I re wet when we went to the restroom or at water fountains. It helped me survive a week at Disney in 95 degree weather so I'm in love with the Frogg Toggs!!!I do think it's important not to just shove back in the plastic container as the moisture would make it mold. Especially after wearing it and sweating on it all day. It will grow bacteria. So, at night when we would go back to our resort I would wash them with soap and water and hang up to dry. I think the people that are complaining of mold may not have done that consistently. Great product and very useful!

Got moldy during damp storage.
I bought a red one, if it matters, and used it for a day. It was nice and kept my neck cooler. I put it away damp and a few weeks later went to use it and it's covered in mold, front and back. There are even dry spores you can see. I put it in the washing machine and it did not help, so this goes in the garbage. I DO give credit to Frogg Toggs, they are sending me a new one, but she said I should store it dry. I have an Absorber chamois for my car (that I bet would do the same thing) and it's about 15 years old. It always stores wet and has never gotten funky at all. Whatever Absorber does to prevent the mold, Frogg Toggs needs to do.

Dries stiff - better options out there
Dries stiff as a board, if you store it damp so it doesn't get stiff it smells! Better alternatives out there. Not happy with this one

Great choice
Love the Frog Toggs. It's possible my husband is jealous as this summer I've been sleeping with mine.I did cut one up, so there were more smaller pieces then it arrives (but that's better too in some ways as there are more of them). I do a lot of farm work, and we've had a heat wave this year. I'm grateful for my togg.It is on the thick side. It makes it "last" longer then other brands, but it's also good to note it's not super thin fabric like some others.

LOVE frogg toggs
LOVE frogg toggs!!! My boys were working in the hot summer heat doing yard jobs and car detailing. They always had their frogg toggs along. I knew it was helping to keep them cooler and I felt better about them working in the heat. They work great at keeping you cooler. Sons would soak them in cold water every time they wanted to be re-cooled down. They stay wet, but do get warm after a while. Would buy again.
