Great club but defective
Had the club for just over 3 months. Great club for consistency, great sound when you make that perfect drive. About a week ago I notice a change in the club sound and notice that the the club head had a crack in the base. What’s the chance of getting a replacement as I do love this club.

Only helps a little
I've used this club several times now and find that it didn't fully meet my expectations. From my experience as a high handicap golfer, it helped with a slight mis-hit, but if, for example, you're expecting it to solve your slice it's probably not going to do the job. I also found that while I can hit my 15-year-old driver 200+ yards (when I hit it straight) I could at best hit 175 to 200 yards with this club. While the manufacturer says to hit it like a 7 iron, I found I needed to position the ball forward in my stance to get it to go straighter.

fun club at a good price.
im relatively new to golfing and got a hammy down set of clubs from a senior friend of mine but needed a driver/hybrid. as my first driver/hybrid im very happy with the results. i wouldn't say it swings like a 7 iron but im relatively new as i said before. i would recommend this to anyone looking for a deal on a club.

Extremely Accurate
This club is extremely accurate as advertised, provided you hit your 7 iron accurately, as the two clubs have about the same shaft length. The one draw back, DISTANCE. I normally hit my Taylormade R9 Driver 240 to 260, sometimes further, with minimal accuracy to the fairway. With this club, I am averaging 210 to 225 and have missed only two fairways in 4 rounds of 18 holes. So, yes, I love it. I will sacrifice the distance for accuracy any day. My scores have dropped between 5 and 8 shots respectively. Tee it down a bit from the driver ball height and feel comfortably hitting from the fairway. I love this club.....

Women - slow speed swing
I do not have a powerful swing like many of the women in my club however this club gives me just a little more distance to become competitive with people just above my handicap as many times (not all) the little bit of extra distance - say 10 to 15 yards - can get me on the green with one less stroke then I used to. I recommend it for any slow swing and little weaker player that is looking to get a little more distance. I'm still learning the correct way to hit it and have not found the best t spot but have just viewed the u-tube video that was sent by autopilot (wished I had viewed it sooner) and recommend watching that. I will try their suggestions to see if I can squeeze a little more distance out of it. One thing I notice is that I must remember to swing a little harder at impact in order to get that extra distance.

Worked above all expectations for me!!
First couple of holes was a little off trying to adjust to club. I raised tee slightly to make contact with with ball center slightly above center line of club face snd away i went. 3 birdies in a round, very accurate drives way longer than i could hit with a driver! Could not be happier. I realize this club isnt for everyone, however if your like me, 6 ft. 255 and have trouble with the swing required for consistent driver shots than this is the answer! I am not paid for this, not asked to do this or anything else. Buy it and try it! It worked for me!!

Harder to hit than your 7 iron
The videos of this item say that this golf club is for amateurs and can be swung like a 7 iron. There is nothing farther than the truth. It can be a lot of work to shoot a good shot. Not as easy to hit as advertised.

I still stink
I bought this club to help with my slice, and I still slice the ball more often than not. Don't buy a club hoping to fix your swing. Get a lesson it will help far more than any club. Overall the quality of the club is fine. Just remember it's not the wand, it's the wizard.

It does not replace the driver
The GX 7 metal does not replace the driver. My wife is a high handicap golfer and has hit an offset driver. She was not comfortable with the GX 7 as it did not go as far as her old driver. She hits left handed and the GX 7 is suppose to go straight but she was hitting a lot of balls to the left . If you're used to an offset club this GX 7 might not be for you.
