Easy to install and works great.

This worked perfect on a 2008 Jeep grand Cherokee Laredo.Have to tow a motorcycle trailer, this is the easiest wire harness I have ever installed.I was nervous about the fit, but I had plenty of wire. People must have ordered the wrong car size!You may want to use larger zip ties, or have them on hand as a option. It comes with a few small ones.

I bought this in addition to the Curt Manufacturing 13182 Class 3 2 inch receiver for my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Install was easy and only requires that you remove the rear tail lights to piggy back off the electrical connections for your trailer. What you end up with is a nice looking 4 pole trailer connector that zip ties nicely and out of the way. Same product they use at UHaul and if you're willing to spend 15 min installing it yourself you can save a bundle.With the 2011-2013 Jeep Grand Cherokees the only strange part was removing the tail lights. 2 plastic pins come out which you can use a flat screwdriver to help remove, then you have to pop out the tail light. At first you feel like you're going to break the tail light but don't worry it just requires a bit of pulling. No damage will happen as it snaps in place. Older style tail lights had all screws, whereas the new ones have 2 plastic snap/plugs and then snap into place. I did a google search for '2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee tail light removal" and found several how to's on the Jeep forums and even a youtube video walking you through the process.Would recommend this purchase for those looking for an aftermarket trailer hitch and wiring.

Not a dislike BUT the wires to the tail lights would not fit thru the frame holes without cutting parts of the seam. SO I simply cut the wires long enough to fished the wires down thru the available hole and connected them below the wheel well. Product works excellent and beats $100+ for dealer to reprogram the computer.Now to figure how to hook up the factory installed 4 and 7 receivers to this system. Not too hard.

Fairly easy to install. Buy a bag of larger size cable ties for proper securing of wire and make sure you have a paint/rust free surface to attach the white ground wire.

once you unplug the plug its all plug in and run the wire down and thru the brackets holding the bumper and back up on other light and one hooked up using the supplied self tap screw for the ground .you are set to use .they give you more then enough wire to run and the 4 way wire is long enough .worked out perfect and no worries about shorting system with cutting or soldering wires .

It is a great wiring system to install very easy. It has also held up really well, and is still kicking.

It came okay but 2 wire connection loose, I have to buy heat shrink tube.

Worked perfectly on my Jeep 2007 grand Cherokee. Easy install less than 10 minutes and I have very little to no automotive knowledge. Just have a power drill as it doesn’t say on the instructions that you need to drill the white ground wire to the metal part of the car, but other than that. Easy as pie, works great, and great price when compared to shops and installation prices.

very easy to install, perfect instructions, took about all of 30 minutes and it was all done .all works perfectly highly recommended
