Engineer mini side cutters are exactly what I wanted when I ordered it. The build and quality is great. They are super sharp. Engineer products are of good quality making it easy for me to purchase something from this Japanese company. So far I have three different cutters being used at work that I have purchased. I use this primarily to cut zip ties. Regular cutters leave a small piece sticking out that you will invariably cut yourself on. Spend the extra on these, it's worth it.

For the price, these are outstanding! Clean cutting, smooth operation. Pliers like these are designed for light cutting jobs only... ie, soft copper wire. If used as intended, it should last a decently long time. Don't abuse, and you'll be happy!

A mediocre tool. it's sharp but grinding on each blade is uneven which we can only see on cheap tools. The handle is non-slip and well crafted. Opening width can be changed by adjusting the tab between the blades. The blades are hard enough to cut the thin yet hardened metals.
