Does tegaderm work on sensitive skin, or might it tear the skin on removal?

It works well on sensitive skin with no tearing.

Do they work for venous ulcers? How often do I need to change it? Thank you!

I wouldn’t put it directly on the ulcer. Definitely have it covered with a gauze . I changed my dressing every day so I could clean my port area

Will these work on a wound that measures 4X3? Not sure what the size in description means.

It only covers a 4x3 area, with about 1/4 around edge, so I would say no, you need to go a bit larger to accommodate 4x3 wound.

Does this cover an omnipod dash insulin pump?

i used to also wear an Omnipod dash pump... but i didn't use the 3M dressing to hold on my pods with my PDM ... "Instead i use skintac & or mastisol" to hold my pods on my body. "I would not suggest using this 3M transparent dressing with your Omnipod dash Pods because as you may or maynot know the PODS will need to be replaced every 3 days. & in that case you will go thru a supply of these dressings very rapidly & need to buy more sooner than later...skintac or masitisol is much more beneficial & cost effective to use with your Dash... hope this helps...

Wound protection

Wonderful product, used extensively in my nursing practice, and now at home. Keeps wounds clean and dry.I read the one star reviews and can only think that folks don't understand how this dressing is applied. Watch an application video on you tube for the correct technique.

Perfect for my needs!

I was recently placed on a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) which adheres to the skin. It's a great system and it even provides what they call an over-patch. It's a bandage that is about an inch larger all the way around than the actual transmitter device with a hole in the center that is exactly the same size as the transmitter. Unfortunately, the placement areas where it can be worn are very difficult to see well enough to position that hole right over the transmitter, especially if, like me, you don't have another person to help you with it. This often results in the over-patch being poorly positioned or worse yet, it folds over on itself and becomes totally useless. These Tegaderm Transparent dressings are the perfect solution. After I do my best to place the over-patch properly, I apply a Tegaderm dressing over the entire mess and it works great. I change the device once every 10 days or so and the Tegaderm dressing not only holds it securely, but the waterproof aspect works perfectly too. I can't say enough about these dressings.
