Great tuner with extra features
After some time using this tuner I found it very nice to use. I liked the clip-on cable that functions like a lighter snark tuner, tuning by vibrations from instrument. I wish the wire length was a bit longer.I like the tone generator with volume control to set how loud it can be and it was loud when turned all the way up. Both the tone generator and metronome are an added bonus for me since I never needed a tuner for anything else except tuning. What can be improved? It isn't very intuitive to use at first but once you look at the short instruction manual, it wasn't too bad. At first, I thought the "M/T" button stands for mode but it wasn't. I think it is metronome and tuning. To use hold the button for a couple of seconds to trigger the metronome or press it quickly to switch between chromatic and other pre-programmed instrument modes.Tone generation is similar, it is triggered by pressing the power button or holding the power button down for a couple of seconds to turn off the tuner. The user interface isn't very intuitive but it is still a pretty awesome tuner, metronome, and tone generator all in one with a clip-on cable. It is visually easy to read and has a bar to prop the device up. Lastly, the battery compartment was easy to open, put in batteries and remove batteries. It takes 2 AAA batteries that came with the order. No more hassle with CR2032 batteries!----update 10/9/2022When tuning open strings with clip-on in chromatic mode, the accuracy of the device jumps sharp and flat around +- 5 cents. This made it confusing to read and makes me wonder if the device I got is faulty.----update 11/7/2022Got a replacement and the accuracy isn't where I would like it to be. I still believe that this is a great tuner for a beginner with all the bells and whistles needed to start. I wished I owned one of these 10 years ago to use with my students.

WOW 😳, don't buy fenders 10 dollar tuner
This thing is amazing, you can choose from 100 more options to fine tune any string instruments to picking specific frequency 432 gang 💯 it's a metronome you can customize also. Also a tone generator. You basically have three ways to tune a string instrument. Ear, clip or direct plug

Don't Be Fooled By It's Price, This Is Gold!
I was a little concerned about how this tuner would work, compared to other tuners I have bought and used. Primarily because of the price. That is to say, this tuner was very inexpensive. How can a tuner this cheap be of any value?,I thought to myself. When it arrived, I opened the box it came in, and clipped it on my guitar. But wait! It needs a battery! Well, yeah, of course it does. I inserted the flat battery into the correct space. Wait a minute! What kind of tuning is this? I saw a C. Then, I pressed the only button I could find, and I saw...G,B,V,U. OK, it is time to find the instruction sheet, I thought to myself. What I read made me feel very pleased, but very humbled at the same time.Oh my Lord! G=Guitar! B=Bass, V=Violin, and U=Ukulele! I pressed the button back to G. I plucked my 6th string. It says "E"! And it lights up a bright green hue when the note is dead on! I continued until all strings were finally tuned. And, guess what else I am happy about? I have a ukulele that needed tuning! I am in heaven! Guitar and Ukulele are now both in tune, and let me tell you this...this little baby works great! It is easy to use, it is quick and painless to use, and tuning with this device is faster than other tuners I have used. Do not be fooled by the price; this is a gem, a diamond in the ruff, and quite possibly a gift from Heaven. If you are a guitarist, bassist, or a ukulele player, do not stop and think about it...click on the link and buy it, now!Just in case you doubt my sincerity, let me say this: I do not work for Amazon, nor for the company that makes this tuner. Finally, I wish to state for the record, that I am NOT running for public office at this time. Thank you, and have a great, musical day.

It’s a great metronome too!
The media could not be loaded. I use this primarily as a metronome, and it is great. As with any metronome, you can select the tempo, but you can also select various time signatures, as well as one eighth, or one sixteenth note beats.I play my bass without an amplifier to keep peace in the house, and this metronome is more than loud enough for that. I would dare say it’s loud enough for acoustic guitar playing too.So, as a metronome, I recommend this device; oh yeah, it works great as a tuner too.

Good value... no problems. Very easy to use! No regrets.
Works great. A few notes: The tuner is very small which is great, and yet the display is nice and large, which is also great. It makes leaving the tuner in my case no problem at all. Graphically, tuning is very easy to follow. I use this for my violin and I had to read the instructions to use it properly. Once I had it set to violin mode, viewing the progress of the tuner is simple and the display turns green when I'm on target. I found it to be accurate and reliable. Also note: I use this particular tuner on a silent violin (electric) and it reads just fine as expected. (Silent violins aren't really silent anyway). The only part that was a little difficult to figure out... in order to turn on the tuner, you have to hold the power button for a quick 3 count... which is clearly written in the instructions; in the case of my tuner, I just have to press the power button a little harder than expected. But knowing that, I haven't had ANY issues with the tuner since getting it a few weeks ago.

Better than bad, but not good
It's a device, it does the thing. It does it well, when jacked in. It chews through batteries like they where tootsie rolls. The transducer thing is useless.
