It does work! I had thin and peeled nails from getting acrylic and gel nails. So I cut my damaged nails to nubs, and would apply this about 3x daily for 2 weeks, then cut off any nail growth to nubs again and continue that until all the nailbed scarring and uneven layers grew out. It smells good, moisturizes the nail, undernail and cuticles and makes them soft. I have naturally thin nails from a lifetime of nail-biting, anemia and genetics but I've been applying this almost everyday at least once at night and my thin nails have only chipped significantly twice! However it wasn't just this I used: keep your nails very short for a few months as to allow the nail to get stronger and not break while healing. Use cuticle oil after applying to lock in the moisture overnight, and keep them well trimmed and sanded when they do eventually chip and peel from older damage.

now, I have not used for a long enough period of time to determine if it makes nails strong. However, I immediately bought a 2nd jar so I can keep one home and one at work. I love the smell, love the feel of it on my nails and quite frankly its kinda addicting to put on. I purchased 2 of the coconut scent and it smells amazing, I would like to try the cherry almond but for whatever reason that is a few more dollars than the coconut.UPDATE: this product is amazing!! My nails are usually paper thin when the nail tech takes off my gel polish. To the point where they cannot even be filed without bending, etc. went to salon for manure and once polish removed I felt my nails… they were strong AF! I cannot recommend this product more.

This review is the first step in a series of reviews. If I dont do it this way, I will forget entirely, and if this stuff works for how bad my nails are, then others need to know.First edit on 2/24/25:I have been a nail biter my whole life, up until a few years ago. In higher anxiety/stress times, I catch myself starting to bite them again. Well, my husband noticed me biting my nails about 6 weeks ago and suggested I get gel nails done. So I made it a mom and daughter date to get our nails done. After 3 weeks, I had to remove them. And let me tell you, I am never getting gel nails again. My nails are flimsy, thin and overall weaker than they have ever been before. I need help with them, so I searched for days before landing on this product. Now, I only really have time to apply once or twice a day, so my progress will be slower than folks who apply 3 or more times. So far, I am happy with the product. I love the smell. I've been applying it at bedtime, so the coconut scent is extra relaxing. But my favorite part, after only a week of use, the skin around my nails is healthier, softer and stronger. So that gives me hope that this stuff will help. I did also get a fancy cuticle oil which I apply once this stuff is soaked in and my nails are dry again. I end up coating basically the entirety of my finger tips, and my calluses from playing guitar are still there, but softer. You do not need much at all, so I see this little bottle lasting a long time.The attached photo are my nails now. The short ones and damaged nails are from my nails breaking, tearing, and chipping since I removed the gel nails. I will attach progress photos when I come back to edit my review. *UPDATE*It's been 5 months now and I can't believe these are MY nails 😭I am in awe every single day! They just... GROW! And when I bump them, still don't breaking or peeling. Like what do you mean? My background, I have autoimmune thyroid disease and I'm in menopause. I've never been a nail biter and haven't had acrylics or gel in almost 20 years. My nails barely grow on their own. Even when they're painfully short, any and every bump to my fingers would cause them to split and peel. I've tried EVERYTHING. All the protein polishes, supplements, creams, etc. I had very little to no hope for this product.I ordered this on March 10th and have been using it twice a day since. I still have about half of it left. It doesn't take much. It took some time (about 3 months) for my old, weak nails to grow out. I just kept them short. After about a week, I could visibly see the healthy new growth and I was excited. My nails now actually grow, are stronger, and look healthy. If I bump a nail on something, I might get a little knick that can easily be filed away. But no more splitting and peeling. I can't believe I'm actually writing a review for a nail product that does what it promises.I know a lot of people mention the scent. It's lovely. Not that I care. It could smell like a fart. I would just keep my hands away from my face until it wears off. This stuff is amazing and I will throw the most epic tantrum of they ever stop making this or change the formula.The end.
