seems nice (first time owner of this brand)
just received them and never used wera tools before (ordered a smaller set of green wera's at the same time). first impression, they seem like they are well built and if taken care of, will last a long time.I tend to keep my tools indoors, not in dirty environments (mostly electronics on a workbench) and so these will probably last and stay clean for me. if these were outdoor tools, they might start to look ugly fast, and the plastic scratches easily, if that matters to you. otoh, they are meant to be used and not looked at.the insulation seems very thick and trustable. if I'm going to use insulated tools, I want to believe in them and this coating does look believable. I would not buy bargain no-name 1HL brands when I'm buying something that has a safety aspect to it.I'll update the review over time if these fail to perform. the laser tip treatment seems like its going into the metal and isn't a simple surface level etching. maybe it could even have been deeper but we'll see if it lasts. initially, brand new, it does have more grip than screwdrivers of the non-laser etched kind.the printing on the screwdriver body looks like it will wear off easily. not enough to take a star off the review but for this kind of brand and level of product, they could/should have made the printing much deeper.there is raised lettering on the screwdriver shafts, on the red insulation. I'd prefer it to be smooth and so I could 'speed' thru some jobs by twisting the red insulation directly. the printing is mildly annoying, not a big deal, but just wish it wasn't there.otherwise, looks like a nice long-term owning tool. hope to get years of use from it. undoubtedly, it will be the easiest tool to find in the toolbox (superbright red/yellow, almost comically bright).

Ergonomically Superior!
I've never heard of Wera tools before this purchase, but it's safe to say I wish I had! Working as a building engineer I find sometimes that I need to work on electrical equipment while it's live. While I DO NOT like to, and frankly think it's down right ignorant and negligent, sometimes I need to in order to not disrupt other areas of the floor or facility. Anyhow, I thought it wise to invest in a reliable set of insulated screwdrivers. I did some research online and found that Were was a very trusted reliable name in screwdrivers. I wasn't big on the look of the handles, I read so many good and almost no bad about them that I purchased this set. Two words best describes these tools...Ergonominally. Superior. Regardless the size of the handle or the size of the hand, these screwdrivers feel phenomenal! I've been a Klein Tools cushion grip fan for years, but these have them beat all day, every day! While they're not a cushioned grip the superiority of the grip itself makes cushioned grips a nonessential factor. What's also great about these is the laser etched tips.I don't know how many times I've been screwing in a screw and the driver slips and damages the wood or material you're screwing into. The laser etching greatly reduces this from occuring. All but one of the screwdrivers in this set have it and that's because of the micro size of the terminal screwdriver would probably not allow it. This set also comes with a mount that hold all six screwdrivers with an extra slot on this kit. All and all a great product and I will definitely buy Wera again.

I have paced these at work...
...and found them to be all they are advertised to be. I need the insulated tools and have found these to be strong and long lasting, (being a fan of tight lugs). The etching on the tips definitely helps with holding the grip of the fastener resulting in fewer striped out screws. Recommended.

PROBABLY MORE SCREWDRIVER THAN I NEED
Couldn't resist adding to my tool collection. I rarely do electrical work requiring insulated screw-drivers, and nothing that approach what these are rated for, but I prefer to buy quality tools once and not worry about replacing them because they weren't up to my standards. For the quality, these are reasonably priced and important to have available in case you need to do electrical work. I've used these once so far, replacing a GFCI outlet that had failed, and, well, they worked fine. The handles fit nicely in the hand, the tips are high quality and held the screws well (used both slot and Philips), and since I de-energized the circuit not sure if they prevented me being shocked, but always best to assume a circuit is live when working with electricity, which means electrical isolation and insulated tools.

Maybe a little over rated?
This was an impulse purchase for me. It was the "Deal of the Day" and given the stellar reviews, and the fact that I didn't own any insulated screwdrivers, I thought I'd give them a try.I haven't really put these to use yet, but my initial thought is that they may be a little over rated. The quality is fine, but I don't feel like they're "exceptional", as many reviews have made them out to be. I found the grips to be comfortable, but a little small for my hands. In my opinion the best thing about them is the laser etched tips which have some bite to them, but I'm curious to see how well they hold up with use. Other than this, I didn't find these to be any better than my 20 yr. old craftsman drivers. In fact, I think the craftsman are more comfortable in my hand because of the larger surface area to grip.
