Pleasantly surprised. The pics don't do this unit justice.
I still own an Edgestar Dual Zone fridge from a few years ago, and it's still going strong. One of the temperature buttons is a bit wonky now, but I can still raise/lower the temp if needed. I received my Koldfront (Edgestar) 32 bottle single zone fridge a couple of weeks ago, and I honestly like it more than the dual zone, more expensive, version. Here are a few reasons why: the single zone has the faux wooden shelves. If you've ever had to remove a tight-fitting bottle from a steel wire shelf found on the dual zone version, you'll not miss the nails-on-a-blackboard sound it creates. No such problem with the wood shelves. The single zone unit comes with a door lock, the dual did not. The temp and light controls are touch-sensitive and are built into the glass door. You can't tell that from the photos, so I was pleasantly surprised. Embarrassingly, I had the door open when the unit arrived and was unpacking the shelving, installing the door handle, etc and didn't notice the controls on the glass door as they were facing outward. I thought, 'holy cow, they sent me a unit with no temp controls inside....noooooooo!'. Then I shut the door...duh. I thought afterward, 'damn, that's a slick looking setup in the glass'. I removed the bottom shelf and was able to slide 3 magnums in with no problems. Pinot bottles will fit on certain shelves, but not all. I'm hoping the longevity on this one is as good as the dual zone version. If not, I'll be sure and update this review.

from garbage-compactor to a nice wine-cooler
I purchase this particular model to replace a garbage compactor. I knew it is NOT design for build-in cabinets, but I place a small electronic equipment fan to redirect the hot air from the back to the top-front (one of those under-laptops ones). So far the unit works great! I do agree is it not of the highest quality but it do look super nice, maintain the temperature great and is low noise (can only hear it during the quiet night time). You always need to pull the rack almost completely outside to take/accommodate the bottles, but is a minor problem considering the price. The build in light is blue, and good for nothing, but I do not really care about the illumination. So far, so good, happy buyer and would recommend it to others, can't beat upgrading the garbage compactor for a wine cooler!

it does keep the wine cool.
This wine cooler is just ok. It says it fits 32 bottles of wine. Many of our french wines will not fit in the spaces of the fridge. I had to take out two of the shelves in the unit to accommodate for the more rounded bottles. However, it does keep the wine cool.

Was a gift for my son in law and he just loves it! Plenty of space and the wood shelving is well made

It does a decent job
Decent wine fridge for the price. Isn't terribly loud and wine stays cool. Solid feeling handle and door closes with a nice seal. Wine rack trays are a little junky and racks are spaced in a way that only one or two rows will accept a wider bottle than a standard wine bottle. I don't entirely regret buying this product but won't buy it again.
