Works well.
I have used this for years on several old cars. Works really well and is affordable. I put a bottle in after each oil change.

Stopping the leak
Riding mower had an oil leak. Seems to be better.

Works to a point
Helps swell up the seals I think. It has its limits but is enough to slow my rubber valve cover gasket leak. Definitely worth a try. It seams to work about the same as others costing more than double.

Did not work for me.
This product has been around for ages so it must work to some level. Possibly on a smaller leak than I had

Seems to work on small or minor oil leaks
Despite being skeptical on magical cure-alls I decided to give this a go. I had already sent the vehicle to the shop at least two times, and the vehicle was still losing oil. The loss was somewhat slow, after driving and letting it sit there would be about a half-dollar sized oil spot. I haven't had to add oil (yet) after a few months since the repairs on other old seals, but it was headed that direction again as the reservoir had fallen to about 50% of the hashed area on the dipstick in that time.I used a bottle of this Bars Stop Leak Concentrate, and almost immediately I noticed how much smoother and quieter the engine seemed to run, as in right after I added it and went about the rest of the day. It sounded different, but different in a good way.The first day, I noticed a significant improvement in the rate of oil loss. I literally had to get down and look at the driveway to spot the few drops of oil lost that dripped on a piece of gravel. By day two, I was not able to find the wet spot at all after combing through gravel so I stuck a piece of cardboard under the front and left it. Next day, I pulled it out. Bone dry. Not a drop of oil lost.I'm very impressed and satisfied with what this bottle did. We'll see how long it lasts, but it seems to have did exactly what it was supposed to do. But that having been said, my leak was most likely a very small one. This might not work on a larger leak with a lot of oil being lost.

Used As Directed for 3.5 Weeks and No Noticeable Reduction In Leaks
Have used this engine stop leak in a leaky 2015 Equinox for the past 3.5 weeks with double the suggested "to work" mileage and still no noticeable stopping of leaks. Rather disappointing.

Great Stuff if Seals are you problem
I used a ton of this S* in my Mountaineer before I realized that my F* oil sensor plug was actually leaking. $20 and 15 minute fix. However, I use this stuff in all my older vehicles and any seal leak stops after a week or so. Good S* ! A must for older motors. Good price.
