Buy these!!
I was skeptical about these little tacks. We have tried pool noodles and regular tacks to keep the fabric in place on our slip cover couch. These are working like a charm. Especially because they are like screws and can't pop right out like straight tacks do. My couch is 89 inches long. I had enough to tack the seat front, seat back, both arm sides and back side of the couch. I had some leftover, too. Highly recommend these little guys!

Better than paying for a professional job
They worked perfectly to hold up the sagging roof liner in my truck. I didn't do the precise measuring and it still looks great. Finished in less than 10 minutes.

Useful to secure pet cover on sofa
I used these to secure a cover on my couch to protect it from a dog that loves to perch on the arm of the sofa. They work well. I've also used them on a chair to secure the arm protectors. I wish they had a more contemporary design...like a plain flat topper rather than little flowers. Other than that they are great.

arm chair cover fastners
I like them as they hold arms covers for my recliner, and they don't damage the fabric.

Hold well but…
These hold the fabric in place, but the more it gets sat on, the more it tears the fabric. Even denim. Taking the out is a pain and again it tears the fabrics

A lifesaver! Saved me hundreds!
These are fantastic and I'm so glad I found out they existed. I recently painted my living room and my brown couch did not look good with the color and it had a stain that I couldn't get out. I needed a fix before Christmas (didn't want guests to view the ugliness), and I really didn't want to have to buy a new couch because mine isn't very old. My couch is a very large size and I couldn't find a slipcover that would fit it. I am also not a very good seamstress so I didn't know what to do. I came across a blog that recommended using these to keep slipcovers from slipping, and that gave me an idea. Instead of sewing my own slipcover or even buying one, I made one using a duvet cover and these pins. I had a duvet cover that was unused and stashed away in the linen closet. I took it apart at the seams using a seam ripper and then I tucked it into the couch wherever I needed it and used these pins to hold it in place. Anywhere it was loose, I fastened it with these. Because these are clear and somewhat small, you can barely see them, and even if you do see them, they look like little decorative buttons. My couch looked good enough that my brother thought I got a new one and my sister asked me how my slipcover looked so tight and good.As for function, the pins act as little screws. You stab them through the fabric and upholstery and twist them until they screw in flat. The come out by twisting them the opposite way. They are easy to insert and remove, and they hold up well. I have had numerous people sitting on my couch, including my five-year-old daughter who likes to squirm and throw herself around on the couch and these have stayed in place perfectly. The only downside is that I have to remove all of them to wash my slipcover, but that isn't anything against the pins but against myself for making a fake slipcover. They are totally worth it though. I bought a fifty pack for fewer than ten bucks which saved me what the cost of a new couch or a custom-made slip cover would be, which is what? Hundreds? Thousands?I am very happy with my purchase! I plan to buy more to slipcover a little chair of my daughter's that has become stained. If you want a slipcover or to cover any sort of bad upholstery and you don't know how to sew or don't want to take the time, this is your answer! Buy these and some fabric, a sheet, or anything else you can use and make your furniture look new.
