I guess I had the hose too strong because the bottle didn’t last long but I’m pretty sure my grass liked it. I thought it tasted gross.

This is awesome fertilizer, but the bottle doesn't always work when you connect it to your hose. 2 out of the 4 I've purchased just water but don't suck up an fertilizer...i.e. the amount in the bottle doesn't change. The other two,, you can see it going down so know it's working.

What I really like about this Humboldts plant food is the flow control valve. It is very easy to adjust and control the water flow. I live in a townhouse and most of my plants are in pots. I was concerned that I couldn't use the spray bottle because there would be too much overspray and waste. That is not the case. It is easy to turn the flow on and off, plant to plant and get just the right amount of flow each time.Since I started using this, my plants have greened up like I'd expect from a good fertilizer.

Simply adapt your hose to the canister, and once you flip the switch to on, you can adjust the flow of the water as it fertilizes your garden. The ingredients in the fertilizer mix appear to be standard nutrients, so I'm sure it will make your plants happy.There were no leaks when I attached the hose to it and ran it, which was surprising since it's a plastic connector. It does have a rubber o ring which will help create a nice seal. I would keep this out of the sun to ensure that the nutrients don't get denatured and that the plastic doesn't warp if you don't fertilize often. The switch is easy to use and you can turn the water on or off with one hand.I'll update my review if I notice anything funky with my plants, or if it seems to really help my garden, but for now I trust it will help and the mechanism of the hose attachment works wonderfully.
