I got this item to attach to my Ankar blue tooth speakers. I like to use these and then plug the charging cord into them instead of directly to the speaker. I do this because as we all know, the connections on these blue tooth devices are very sensitive to plugging and unplugging the charging cable directly into them. The way I have it set up, I am putting those activities on these inexpensive extensions instead. I have had too many speakers go down the drain due to the connection on the speakers becoming damaged due to plugging and unplugging; This is a great remedy if you have the same problem.

I have Wyze V2 cameras installed outside my house. They are in water-tight cases situated 20 feet in the air. With the V2 cameras, the cable connection is directly on the back. You need to open up the watertight case to connect the cable to the camera. The watertight case is held together with 4 small screws. This is hard to do hanging on to a ladder. With these short pigtails, I was able to pre-assemble the water tight cases and just connect the cable to the end of the pigtail. It worked out great. I wrapped a small piece of electrical tape over the connection to prevent water seepage.BTW, the new Wyze V3 cameras already come with a pigtail hanging off the camera so the cable connection using a water-tight case isn't an issue. This additional pigtail isn't necessary.

The product works as a charm! It helps avoiding the original female port from being plugged into many times, which could damage the circuits inside the electronic devices, such as GPS, smartwatches, etc..... so this help "extend" the lifespan of the female port's micro-usb port. Thank you very much! As a bonus: I bought this twice! :D

No matter how hard you press in, the female side of this product is too tight and won't accept full penetration. You won't be happy with this product because, although it will work at conducting the electrical signal, the male part of the other cord won't be able to go all the way in. The male side of this product is not as bad as the female side of this product but was a little too tight on 1 of the 2 four-inch USB micro extension cords that I received.

Came quickly, and was the perfect cord for my application.
