Q: Can I use heavy cream, instead of milk, in the milk frother?

The milk frother unfortunately stopped working shortly after purchasing the product. I reached out to the company and submitted a web request and never heard back. My experience says don’t buy it. Too expensive if the frothed doesn’t work. If it worked I believe it would do any kind of milk just fine.

I learned that certain plant based mills like oat milk don’t get recognized by the milk frothing sensor - soy seems to work.

Don't think so; if you haven't yet purchased this model, don't. It doesn't froth milk properly.
