As an everyday incense burner, I won't use anything except premium Japanese sticks. They do not have a wooden? stick running through the middle coming out at the bottom. They are not smokey. They burn cleanly and the smoke is very very light. The scent is pure. They smell the same as my premium essential oils. The quality of the Japanese incense is superior to the others that also claim to be pure, organic, and less smokey. Japanese incense tends to be shorter than the ones with wood or whatever it is running down the middle so they do not have as much longevity. Do be careful--they are pretty fragile. I've broken several before I could light them. The sandalwood scent is great.

This stuff sent me right back to the ‘70’s when incense was delightful instead of harsh. Quality incense that smells outstanding. Nicely sized.

Would recommend these any day! They do burn quick though but there are plenty in the box. Nice gift idea!

Good burntime. This reminds me alot of the KAYURAGI version of osmanthus incense. I just don't care for it. The quality / packaging / presentation is all great, but I prefer osmanthus that smells like the absolute deep rich tea like leathery apricot. This is just a touch to synthetic and citrus heavy for my liking.

i really am glad i found this brand of incense, and this one in particular is my fav. the agarwood has such a rich fragrance that lingers, but isn't overwhelming at all. its very woody with a bit of sweetness burns clean and i really enjoy how after the stick has burned out the fragrance just lasts for hours, literally. there's no need to light a bunch cause the scent just lingers so nicely. will be keeping this one on hand as long as it continues to be available

They are super thin and very short... maybe 15 min of smoke. Not what I expected for the price ..... only slightly muskier than the ones with wood stick. Not a good deal. Will stay with the cheaper ones that give alot more scent and a great scent
