I got two of these, one for my 6year old and one for my 3 year old. It’s ok for older kids and WITH DESIGN CHANGE could work for 3yeR olds as well but it’s a huge safety issue that my toddler can open the battery compartment… it isn’t held with a screw like almost ALL ELECTRONIC TOYS FOR TODDLERS/ KIDS ARE

It brings back memories of when I was a kid, and when Gameboys were the thing. This is exactly what my daughter wanted, color and all. It has so many built-in games you never have to worry about downloading more. Plus all the games I think is already enough to last! The machine is very durable and safe for kids to play. The sound effect is perfect and clear. It’s really easy to get a hold of and it’s a great traveling toy.

Let me start with this has a good amount of games on it. I think it says 100. And none of these games are games you are familiar with in the aspect of old NES or Atari. That being said there are still some fun games on here. Racing space shooter games and lots of puzzle style games. I think this is mainly geared for kids that don't know all of those old games that so many of us older ones are looking for. This would be perfect to give to your kid on long car rides to keep them busy. It's not crazy expensive so if it was to get left behind somewhere it would be they end of the world.As far as size and build it's a good size for bigger hands since it has a longer body style. And while I have larger hands they don't get tired while holding this. It feels pretty solid but it is still a cheaper plastic feel. It's not like getting a switch light solid. Thought I think it should last if you're not throwing it around. Screen is nice and bright sound gets pretty loud, to the point where I don't like it all the way up. And the buttons feel pretty ok. Not the best but not the worst.
