Rubber Grip Tape Overlay fits Shockwave Raptor Grip for Mossberg 500, 590, Maverick 88

Having used Traction Grips on maybe a half dozen Glocks over the years, I remain a loyal customer, and just installed this set on my 20 ga Shockwave. Having used them for years, I know what to expect from them.If one cleans the surface where these will go thoroughly, applies them carefully, following the instructions on drying, heating, etc., then these will hold up to regular use and gun cleaning for a long time. And if they eventually start peeling off after a few years, so what? They "wore out" and it's time to buy another set then. Or you may go 10-12 years on a set. I just know that I have never needed to replace any, because I install them properly. A little extra preparation time spent in this regard is always well-spentWhen grip tapes first started coming out, I tried the other name brand that starts with a T. They were pretty nice, but these were even better, and at around half the price. Plus, this brand seems to be cut in a more visually appealing shape, in my opinion.I gave these a 4 instead of a 5 on Easy To Install, only because there is some careful work involved in the preparation. It is not difficult, but it does require great care.

Easy to install, great added texture and should last a long time! Fit my Remington V3 TAC 13 perfectly. I did trim one side to avoid covering the quick snap hole built into the handle since I plan to use it. Installation was a breeze if you follow the instructions. Heating with a hair dryer is a must as is allowing it to cool before use. I am pleased with this grip. Having used another brand which seems more popular but is twice the price I find no difference in the grip material used or the fit so I am very pleased to get as good a grip and half the price of the competition. I recommend this grip!

I saw one bad review here saying that this doesn't change the feel of the firearm from the original grip, that is false. This thing almost feels like it's sticking to your hands when you hold it.I thought the shockwave had a slippery grip when I first held it, and in this case that could be a safety hazard. I am not saying this is a must, hockey tape works too, but this is surprisingly well made and was easier to install than the instructions made it appear (hair dryer?).It looks almost factory made and it took me all of 10 mins to get it on correctly and blow-dry it tight.Overall I don't regret the purchase at all and would suggest it to anyone who owns a shockwave, well worth the price and wait.

Seemed to fit pretty well. The front lines of all 4 pieces weren't really flush, but overall satisfied. I can't speak to longevity. But looks nice. Feels grippier without stickiness.

Just installed this on my Mossberg Shockwave. For the price, these precut pieces fit very well. Better than I was expecting in all honesty. The key is to follow the directions! I installed the bottom first which is opposite of the instructions, so the fit had to be trimmed a little, but that is my doing not the product. I blow dryer or heat gun also helps out alot when getting the edges in place after you are happy with the placing of everything. Without a doubt this grip will help control the gun when shooting.

This is what it is ,,,,it's a better grip overall (unless you have sweaty palms) two pieces had a slight overlap on mine (possibly operator error on install) but happy with the fit overall. Take your time and dry fit each piece it makes a difference good product for the price

I have a Shockwave and this grip makes it easier to hang on to the firearm no matter what size shells being fired. The grip is applied easily with a hairdryer, one section at a time. The bond is extremely strong and the final look is virtually seamless. The material of the grip feels very secure in your hand but is not rough. Great product for a good price.

Stay away from that thing, it's just a vulgar overpriced decal that doesn't do any purpose as the texture of it is as slippery as the original buttstock. Don't get fooled by the pictures you may see of it, that thing doesn't grip at all, at least no more that the original buttstock texture. I wish I added the extra few bucks to get the Talon grip, the granulate sandpaper texture type they make, very grippy.
